I have often wondered what happened to the author as the years have brought a resurgence in living and raw foods. I am fortunate to have this book in my recipe book library. Marcia was a pioneer in being a raw food chef.
Over the years, I've purchased more as I found them so I could give them to friends.
For such a simple comb bound book, it is highly sought after, because its simple, packed full of great live recipes and this is also where I first read about green smoothies before they became popular in the raw movement.
Its still my favorite of all my raw books.
Don't miss a chance to get a copy.
I'm sure it would do well if it were published again.
It has photos of a young Ann Wigmore and Viktor Kulvinskas in there too!
Written in 1978 so some nutritional information has changed but enough information to apply for a low cost, simple but fun raw experience. No photographs of recipes but brimming with creative artwork. Carob fudge; honey, coconut oil, vanilla, carob and walnuts. Simple yum!
