"Good album.... and as it goes.......,

current prices reflect, once again the nature of the release- "import". Old school music lovers are probably familiar with their later 70s ballad "Oh, Honey" off their debut lp "The Promise Of Love", which had songs on it actually released as singles several years earlier. The U.K. based group ended up with several abums to their credit by the early 80s, with some excellent dance and ballad tracks. This reissue of the early 80s lp (issued in the States on a black cover simply written "Delegation", was warranted, as it is a good album. Apparently, no interest (or knowledge) of the lp by U.S. label reissue power callers, different story the Japanese and English. This Japanese reissue,(24bit mastering) brings all the music up to levels the vinyl couldn't reach. Excellent dance tracks and stand alone ballads ("Welcome To My World" a highly sought after sweet soul ballad by collectors, remixes of "You and I", and "Put A Little Love On Me") confirm the expertise in knowledge of the powers that reissued. Prices are higher because no U.S. company reissued, and unless reissued in the States at lower prices, to own, one must pay the cost to be the ....... If one is a 70s/early 80s old-school listener, worth having in the collection.

"A TRUE TREASURE OF THE DISCO MUSIC",

There's no way to forget the sound of the 80's, as long as we've got the chance to hear the music of Delegation. "Put A Little Love On Me" is, in my opinion, the best song of the album; but all of the other tracks offer us the beauty of the dance music from years ago.

Brought back the memories.,

The last time I played this particular album, it was when I was DJ-ing back home in New Zealand in 1986. It was one of the crowd favorites at my father's night club in South Auckland and it was one of my favorites too.The remixes were a bit of a surprise the first time I heard them, but does not detract from my overall satisfaction with this album, and the group.
