This review is from: EazyPower 6" Hole Saw for CornHole Boards (Tools & Home Improvement)
I recently built a cornhole game from plans that used all quality materials. When it came time to cut the large holes, I really butchered them with a jigsaw. I went to Home Depot looking for a solution and they showed me a 6" hole saw, but it was $40. I went back home to ponder a solution to my dilemma when I realized that I had cut my holes less than 6" so I still had hope. Google helped me find the Eazy Power 6" Hole saw for just over half of Home Depot's price so I immediately ordered it. I cut 7" squares of very thin plywood and screwed them over the previously cut holes and located the exact centers to have a starting point for the hole saw. When the Eazy Cut saw arrived (VERY quick shipping) I was impressed with how solid it felt and immediately attached it to my 18 volt cordless DeWalt drill and went to work. Previous reviewers had warned me to be patient, but it soon became apparent that my 10+ year old cordless drill was overworked so I switched to a corded 1/2" drill. It was much more difficult than I expected, but patience did pay off and I had 2 PERFECT 6" holes that matched the quality of the set. A little sandpaper and paint completed the job. It is rare to get price, quality and GREAT customer service (super-quick shipping) all in one place. My compliments (and thanks) to Eazy Cut. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Worked good the first 2 days. And now its a ll bent out of shape and unusable anymore. That was a quick 30 bucks down the drain. Was not impressed at all.

This hole saw is good enough for making a set or two but if you plan on making many sets- you definately will want to upgrade to a better quality tool. The saw was badly inbalanced and the drill bit was loose.

Product seems to be sturdy and well made. You need to be very patient with this product. It is difficult for me to be patient but I did my best. Go very slowly and do not put pressure on the drill, let the hole saw work on its own. I did rock it gently in different directions and I am not sure that was a good idea. I used a 1/2 inch drill with variable speed. The saw did end up making 2 very good 6" holes in 3/4" thick plywood. There is no way that I could have made such finished holes using my jig saw. I don't think you could do too many holes with the saw.

Purchased this back in Oct.2011 basicly for the use of making holes for cornhole boards. This product turned out to be more than I expected. It made perfect clean cut holes without breaking your arms controlling the saw. Its easy to put together and operate with any 3/8" drill.I would highly recommend this product, and the price is even better.

Great cheap alternative to the big box stores. Might have to be a little more careful with this bit but the savings is worth it. Item arrived within a few days of purchase, made sure all components were tight and secure, then put holes through two sets of cornhole. Worked perfectly. Buy it now.

All the reviews that say that this hole saw has only a few uses of life must be burning 3/4 plywood with it. I cut 8 cornhole boards with it and it still is going strong. Just took my time and did not bear down on it while it was grabbing. I actually sold it to another person who also makes cornhole boards for the same price I paid on Amazon. For $30 cheaper than the hole saw at Home Depot, how could anyone give this product any less that 5 stars

I used this saw to make 2 sets of cornhole boards. I used a corded electric 1/2 inch variable speed drill and let the drill and the saw do all of the work (took my time and did not push down very hard on a 1/2 inch sheet of BC plywood). I think the key is to be patient and let the tools do the work.....I caught myself pressing down too much a few times and the results could have been bad. Within about 30 minutes, I had four clean cuts and the saw is still in great shape. I could probably make at least two more sets before I would need to consider purchasing another.
