Author Delilah Dawson provides us with powerful, intoxicating erotica in Ebony Butterfly II. Her latest collection of short stories, it is an offering of erotica at many different levels with stories that will definitely please readers of all backgrounds.

The stories in Ebony Butterfly II are fresh and captivating. From beginning to end we are introduced to a variety of different characters in interesting but sexy scenarios. From several executives at a "Masquerade" to a young store clerk "Bent For Leather", each story carries a passionate, sensual twist that will keep readers alike turning the pages. Even a romantic tip or two can be picked up from these stories.

Overall Ms. Dawson does an amazing job with Ebony Butterfly II, providing readers with stories that are both hot and unique. Both men and women will enjoy this collection, and it is one that is great to read with a lover nearby. Ms. Dawson definitely ranks among the levels with author Zane, and she is truly one to watch. I look forward to more works from Ms. Dawson.

Can you imagine losing the diary that you've kept and written the past five year's worth of secrets in? Imagine the horror if you knew the person who found it? What if the person read it? Such is the case for Sharonda Williams. Misplacing her treasure keeper is distressing, but when she finds out her handsome neighbor has it, she's elated and then horrified to find he is a blast from her childhood, James Cooper. James is unashamed in stating he has read the steamy pages and offers his services in assisting Sharonda with fulfilling her fantasies. Understandably resistant to his advances, she nonetheless fantasizes about how it would be to fulfill her desires with him. Their one time date many years ago wasn't exactly terrible and he has matured in the sexiest way.

Through tantalizing phone calls, peeks through binoculars, and secret codes using wind chimes, the pages of her diary come alive in vivid detail. James is fit for the task of seduction, just the way Sharonda pictures it. The use of imaginative language, thoughtful dialogue and probably a cold shower along the way, transports the reader of this volume into a world many of us only dare to envision. This is a quick read, but the effects can be quite reaching, particularly if you read aloud to your partner.

As with other erotic novels, the imagination level of the reader has to be high to get the greatest effect. Ebony Butterfly, Indigo after Dark Vol. V does a decent job of combining a story line in between the billows of steam to hopefully capture the avid reader. I believe the author accomplished her mission of creating a sweltering erotic fantasy, but somewhere along the way the plot disappeared. This genre isn't my particular favorite, but I value the creative plot woven throughout and I am more willing to read these types of books when there is a tangible story line.

This book was steamier than your grandma's kitchen when cooking collards!!! Not only was it sexy, but it was also done in good taste. You feel like you KNOW the characters and you never want it to end. I'm a very hard critic, but I don't have one bad thing to say about this book. It is sure to tantalize and awaken feelings in you that you might have forgotten even existed. Put down the Viagara and pick up Indigo After Dark!!

Years later, they meet again when James returns Sharonda's journal. The journal she has been searching for since moving to her new apartment and the same building where she realizes James Cooper resides. The journal becomes the focus of their meeting up again, and the beginnings of a very erotic relationship.

Delilah Dawson's Ebony Butterfly entices you to read over and over the wonderful descriptive, tantalizing methods that gives her characters sexual pleasures. Ms. Dawson's erotic style of writing is excellent and she is definite an author to watch. She methodically puts you in play with the storyline and she meets your expectations. If you enjoy erotic stories, you won't be disappointed in Delilah Dawson's Ebony Butterfly.

Imaging losing your journal which you have kept for the last five years, oh the secrets on those pages. When Sharonda Williams discovers her journal is gone, she is crazy with who, what, when, and where could it be. Why is she so upset? Because the journal contains her deepest darkest erotic feeelings. Indigo V jumps off to a wonderful start going through all the erotica in the journal, then it fizzles out to be no more than a poor X-rated movie. The plot of the lost journal was a good one which is why I gave the book a three...

These were very quick reads with erotic storylines that I really enjoyed. I was a little disappointed because the summary of the book was different from what was actually printed so I didn't get the story that I ordered.

This book is steamy. A great page turner. I love Delilah Dawson's books.

Several short H-O-T stories. A quick and fun read to say the very least!

Although considered African American Erotica this author's books should be sampled by all ethnic groups. The book is well written with interesting story concepts and lots of hot steamy sex. The sex is not just tossed in every couple of pages, but fits into the story and helps to build the readers interest in the main characters. This is romantic erotica at it's best. Her books are always worth your money and time.

This book gives fantasies a new meaning when you need some spice in your life. James knew how to be a man & lead his woman out of her inhibitions. Sharonda had many lonely nights with unfufilled dreams and James came along right on time. Sharonda provided the fantasies, James happily provided stud services. This is a must read.
