5.0 out of 5 stars Eccentric Soul Strikes Again
Once again the Numero Group has put together another fine CD. In keeping with the previous CDs in the "Eccentric Soul" series Numero Group has brought to light great music resting in undeserved obscurity. The Deep City lable deserved more than it got as far as attention goes. There is no shortage of talent here and this CD proves that in aces

from the online write up this sounded like it would be better. I was hoping for a more obvious Miami soul dance vibe. it's some lost soul for sure. abit too mellow for me. if you love rare soul then you'll dig it. The Coffin Dragger has spoken.

This is a magnificent compilation. I can't stop playing it. All the singles on this CD are gems. Any musicoligist will agree that this entire CD is a must for any comprehensive Soul library.

Great music. Not quite as slick as Motown, especially the later stuff, but fun to have. A delightful find.

It is pretty impressive that the songs from such an obscure label are so good. If you like soul music, you will like this collection.
