Nice product but does not glow in the dark as it says. But it is a nice garden feature.

It's a gorgeous birdbath...looks great in my yard. It's smaller than I expected, but again, it's pretty, so I can get over the size. But I bought it because it's supposed to glow in the dark. It doesn't. At all. So I'm giving it two stars because hey, at least it looks good during the day...

I've had mine over a year now and no, it doesn't noticably glow in the dark, but if placed in full sun all day, you will see little swirls of the pattern glowing. This subtle glow is very pretty and all the green, blue, and glow-in-the-dark ribbons swirling together reminds me of the Milky Way. Don't buy it for the glow factor though - buy it because it's gorgeous in the daytime. It gleams in the sun as a beautiful blue accent in the garden. I haven't seen a bird visit it yet but my husband has. I've mostly seen butterflies and bugs and the occasional lizard. We have hard water here and and I had to clean the crust of water deposits off with a solution of vinegar and baking soda. Allowed to soak and then scrubbed with a brush, it came right off and it's back to it's original beautiful glow. I recommend this beautiful birdbath.

I think this item is a great addition to my garden. The glass is very pretty and the shape is unique. I also like that the stand height is adjustable.

This is a beautiful birdbath, and a great addition to my yard. However, after less than 6 months, the birdbath's glue failed and I found the dish part on the ground. Fortunately, it wasn't broken. I returned the item and they kindly sent me another one, only to have the same glue failure to occur in less that 3 months with the new unit. Looks good but does not last!

Bought this and only had it for one season. The cold weather cracks and break these.. not very durable for outside, yet they are made for outside. Very disappointed.

I bought this for my mother and had it sent directly to her. She said it arrived in good condition, and she put it in her back yard. A day or two later, she noticed that it had broken clean in half, with half of the glass lying on the ground. No one goes into her back yard except her and her little dog, so I don't think anyone vandalized it. I notified Amazon, and a replacement was mailed immediately. It, too, arrived in good condition, but my mother plans to store it until next year, so I will have to wait until then to see if the replacement is also defective. I would be wary of this product.

My mother-in-law wanted two of these for bird food and water outside her window. Of course, the squirrels are the most frequent visitors. Whether a squirrel is climbing the pole or jumping off, or birds alight in any number around the edge, these little bird baths stay steady. MIL really enjoys them.

I echo the thoughts of "Disappointed's" review. It's really pretty, a bit small but that's OK. Same problem with mine - the glue or solder didn't last more than 6 months and I found the bowl on the ground. I ended up putting the bowl in a hanging metal plant basket. It works well enough, but not as I'd hoped.

I ordered this as a christmas present for my Mom (2011).

My initial fear with ordering a glass object for a christmas present was that it would break during shipping. I give full credit to this company. This was very well packed. It was shipped from eastern US to the western US and arrived in perfect condition.

The birdbath has very large stakes to go into the ground. We found that it was very secure once we found a spot for it in the garden.

When the glass 'bowl' was brought out - everyone in the room went 'oooo' and 'aww'. It was stunning to look at. Slightly larger then my expectations. About the perfect size for a birdbath.

We went out that night to see the 'glow in the dark' feature. As I expected the white parts of the design glow. If anyones expectation is that the entire blue part of this birdbath glows in the dark - you will be disapointed. Plus, to my Mom and I the glow in the dark feature is a gimik. Everyone in my family loved the bird bath before they learned that it was glow in the dark and even then no one really cared that it glowed in the dark.

When placed in the garden - this birdbath looked stunning.
