Although there's an obvious religious slant here ( Mormon )and I'm not a religious person,I love any and all stories about the after life and so look past the religious slant. The "Being of Light" is the ultimate shape shifter when it comes to making people of differing backgrounds feel completely at peace unless of course you need the"hell" scared out of you...which is for your ultimate benefit. I understand "hell" to be what we ourselves create by our thoughts,emotions and actions. What most fail to understand is that it is only a temporary condition similar to going to prison till you pay the time for your crime(s). But in this "prison", you do get rehabilitated so that your soul's journey continues till life's goal is obtained,i.e.,unity with God. Come on people, did you really think an unconditionally loving creator would place it's "children" in an "eternal hell"??? If so, better read the history of the Bible particularly during the time of the emperor Justinian and Constantine. There is of course pure gold in the Bible but be wary of the exceeding amount of fool's gold, placed there by scheming rulers both in the garb of religious leaders as well as the emperors desire for obedient, non questioning sheeple.

Echoes from Eternity cites many cases of NDE's. Recorded stories put down verbatim with some comments about the circumstances of the NDE and at the time of the recording. If you believe in the afterlife, you won't be able to put this down.

This book is outstanding. The author has interviewed a variety of people who have had near death experience (died and come back to life) and written about their experiences. He has categorized the type of experience and written about what the people learned from their NDE. The stories are incredible, discussing what they found beyond this life. Although the experiences vary, there are similarities to let you know these are not made up stories. Some people talk of meeting Christ, some of the Father, others of friends or relatives who have passed away. He also talks of people who were judged for their actions. I would highly recommend this to anyone with an interest in NDE's.

This book allows us to feel the indescribable love that God has for all of his children upon the earth. As I have read this compilation of various individual accounts, I have noticed common threads of truth and felt uplifted and renewed knowing that each person born on this earth has a unique purpose, that life has great meaning and most importantly that we are known and deeply loved.
