The author's writing style is engaging and uses lots of visual imagery. The book captures several personalities in suburban America and chronicles their emotional struggles. It is an honest exploration from the eyes of an outsider about the presssures, motives, and egos encountered. Highly recommended for your next beach or vacation read. You might take a second look at your neighbor after reading this book!
