Good influence,

Maggie Reilly shows us her voice is at the top. With the influence of Mike Oldfield (she worked with him on different projects), Maggie is giving us really deep music, a strong guitar and a magnificient voice. If you have loved Moonlight Shadow (Crises), you will surely enjoy Everytime we touch. Smoother than some of her other albums, she mixes perfectly her wonderful voice with some progressive rock music.

Beautiful CD...I've waited so long to get another copy after a friend lost mine! "Everytime We Touch" and "What About Tomorrow's Children" are haunting and beautiful in true Maggie style. The whole selection showcases her at her best.

No Mike Oldfield presence on this album but if you like her work with him you will enjoy this! She has a very listenable voice and the songs are fine, if not spectacular...simply good listening! And wouldn't it be great if some smart outfit put out a CD consisting of all the Reilly/Oldfield songs?!

For those who still associate Maggie Reilly's voice too much with Mike Oldfield's 80ties stuff, this album may well be the answer. It's her first solo recording and probably not her best, as most songs were written for her by other people, probably in a commercial aim and may sound a bit poppish (but her voice is a great that we can forgive her for this aspect of the album). Yet a few the tunes (Echoes, Gaia, Everytime we touch) come from MR herself and her long friend Stuart McKillop, and are amongst the nicest on the album. On the whole, a good album, a good introduction to her latest ones, especially Starcrossed which is very next to perfection !

!!Very Cool Music!!,

I was vacationing in Athens, Greece a few years ago and the cafes I went to all played music. I kept hearing a particular song in all of the cafes- it was Everytime We Touch. That song sounded so cool, I asked the local DJ's who sings that song & they said Maggie Reilley. I was on a hunt in the local music stores for that CD. Before that, I had never heard of Maggie Reilley, but now- her album is always in my CD player!! Some of the songs sound kinda like folk music, but the ones that don't are Very cool.
