About the Author
Why I write... I began writing years ago (1980) in a journal everyday to clarify my life and to help explain how mental illness had an impact on my life and what I could do about it. I kept a spiritual journal to record the spiritual growth that I was going through. One day, someone very close to me wrote me a beautiful poem. It gave me the idea to write in poetic form. I began to record my life in poems, telling stories, expressing emotions and recording experiences. My interests are reading and writing. I write memoir stories and poetry and other kinds of writing. I also find enjoyment from cooking and baking things from scratch. I like taking walks and I enjoy looking at art in galleries and stores. My goals are evolving as I grow older. I want to be the best mother I can be to my children. This is my first and greatest goal. I also want to develop my spirituality over the span of my life. A secondary but highly important goal is to write and publish books. I wrote for a several years and then stopped. After a writer s hiatus I began to write poetry again and expanded my personal repertoire to include dark poems and gentle erotica. Now writing is a part of my everyday life. It not only is a form of self expression, it is a way to record my distinctive history and a means of therapy in dealing with my everyday life adventures.
