If you are looking for a CD with frogs, this is for you. To my personal taste the third track is too long: I would have preferred more variety. All in all this is a good CD and, for the price, it is just great. There is NOT man-made music here. If you are willing to spend a little more, I definately recommend "Frog song" by Dan Gibson.

THE frog sounds CD to have, period!,

I remember times on the banks of local lakes and rivers at night where the sound of the frogs was absolutely hypnotizing. All of those sounds are right here in this CD. If I feel frustrated from the day's problems, listening to Frog Chorus allows me to forget about them for a while.

Croaking Chorus,

Listening to frog sounds is a wonderful way to relax after a stressful day at work. The soothing pond sounds are a welcome contrast to the frenetic tapping of keyboards and incessant whining of computer fans at the office. These gentle amphibians send out a soothing and amusing sound that effectively lulls me into a state of content and good humor. I read in the news recently that psychologists sent frog recordings along in a Russian cargo rocket up to the space station to relax the crew and to help them with homesickness. This frog chorus CD certainly helps to bring me "back to earth".

These frog songs remind me of Tennessee evenings.,

I was quite pleased with the recordings on this cd, especially for the price. The first two tracks are fairly short, almost like an intro. The third track was really wonderful. It reminded me of a warm spring evening in east Tennessee. You can hear dozens of froggies all singing at once. If you listen closely and are good at identifying frog calls, you can pick out several different species -- including spring peepers (peep, peep).
I actually fell asleep on the couch halfway through the third track the first time i listened to it. It was so comforting and relaxing to hear the familiar sounds of the frogs. If you love frogs and know them well, you will like this cd. There is no music, just real nature sounds.

Great CD. Very soothing.. easy to sleep to! Great recording quality also. 3 different tracks, but they blend easily.. repeat them all or just one track all nite.. reminds you of open windows on a summer nite near a pond/lake!

I definitely agree with reviewer: 'janeh47 from Sterling, VA', I too grew up and do, live in the country, and these frog sounds are a sure sign of spring. Track three is exactly how my backyard sounds like in May; the treefrogs are deafening! In fact, some nights you can't sleep for the din of these tiny frogs; their amorous chorus will drive you to distraction!! I wouldn't have it any other way!

If you like the sound of frogs, has Laser Light got a CD for you! I almost croaked after the first "Duets" track, but by the time I got a few minutes into "Frog Chorus" I was more relaxed than a Horny Toad in froggy Nodville. OK...I'm running out of frog puns. This CD is as advertised. Mesmerizing stuff & cheaper than a lobotomy. All the joy of frogs without the nasty warts.

This CD is one of five that I own. I've listened to it every night for a week since I received it. (They help me to ignore my Tinnitus and fall asleep quicker.) This recording is not as good as it could be. It would've been excellent if one or two of the frogs weren't so loud from being up close while the rest of the chorus can hardly be heard. Also there are two places on the CD where the sound stops entirely, as if it was between songs. Would've been better if no "dead" space between the two frog choruses and the crickets/katydids. It's good enough that I will continue to use it and recommend it to anyone who likes the relaxing sounds of the out-of-doors.

When I am feeling blue, I put in this CD. The beginning just makes me smile. The frog sounds are great and I thought, kinda funny. I put it on for my mother (in her 60's) and she just started to giggle. After a few minutes though, we both agreed that it was very soothing and relaxing.

My acupuncturist put in this CD for me to listen to while I was 'under the needle' and it was so soothing I just had to buy it. I remember the night breeze stirring the curtains in the window of my childhood bedroom and hearing these guys croaking down by the creek at the foot of the hill. If you have similar memories, you'll like this CD. (City-kids might be somewhat puzzled by it.)
