5.0 out of 5 stars Defines the soul's journey with simple but majestic prose.
Despite a full time job and three teenagers at home, I finished this book in under 36 hours. After reading too many books to contemplate, I have found the ultimate guide to the soul's journey. Echo Bodine has shown with easy to understand language the path we all take here on earth and beyond. My view of life has changed much in the past few years and this book...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not a wonderful tour of the subject...
I have a library of a couple hundred books on Spirit,
spirituality, meditation, life before/after life... and
this is not one of the better ones. It is not very well
organized, and does not do this serious topic much justice.

Echo Bodine has shown with easy to understand language the path we all take here on earth and beyond. Thank you Echo for writing a book that I will read again, and again, and again....

5.0 out of 5 stars Read it and know the truth, February 14, 2000
This review is from: Echoes of the Soul: The Soul's Journey Beyond the Light - Through Life, Death, and Life After Death (Paperback)
When I saw this book it jumped off the shelf at me and would not leave me leave the store without it. I read it in one sitting and was so in awe by the end I didn't even know what to do with myself. That was 9 months ago and I am a changed person because I know I am not alone, this is not a one shot deal and there is someone watching over me. Read this and share it with everyone you know. What you will learn will be worth so much more than anything you paid for the book. And if you ever get the chance to meet Echo - take it. She is a wonderful woman...if you have any doubts about the book, meeting her will wash them away.

5.0 out of 5 stars Totally Enlightening!, March 2, 2000

This review is from: Echoes of the Soul: The Soul's Journey Beyond the Light - Through Life, Death, and Life After Death (Paperback)
The cover caught my eye first, then the title. I have always been enthralled with stories of life after death, souls, spirits and heaven. I have always believed that there must be more to life than the here and now. Having lost both my parents in the past two years I have since been searching for more answers on life after death. This book made the events of my family's life make sense and my parents passing easier. It also makes all life possibilities and peoples choices & paths of their lives make sense. I couldn't put the book down once I started to read it. Awesome and inspiring!

5.0 out of 5 stars A complete, calming explanation of who we are., November 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Echoes of the Soul: The Soul's Journey Beyond the Light - Through Life, Death, and Life After Death (Paperback)
Echo's explanation of who we are has helped me deal with the loss of my dear niece shortly after her 18th birthday and the recent loss of my grandmother. Also, I now realize that I have had visions and conversations with the souls of loved ones who have "graduated". Since reading this book, I am more aware of these experiences, and I welcome them with an open mind. I thank you Echo, for giving me hope, strength, and the ability to believe in what I so long have desired to understand. This is truly a wonderful book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Heartwarming and Enlightening, January 7, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Echoes of the Soul: The Soul's Journey Beyond the Light - Through Life, Death, and Life After Death (Paperback)
Echoes of the soul is a very easy to read and understand book.Simply written it delves into Life after Death and gives you a whole new perspective on this very subject. My husband and I lost a child to Cancer and suffered a Stillbirth within months of each other. So for me I longed to find out more about Life after Death. It helps to an extent if you believe in Reincarnation as to why these things happen. It was one of the very first books I read on the subject. It guides the reader through life experiences and delves into why, sometimes we all will experience some type of loss throughout the journey of life. A must read for those exploring spirituality.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best So Far, January 21, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Echoes of the Soul: The Soul's Journey Beyond the Light - Through Life, Death, and Life After Death (Paperback)
This is the best book on spirituality that I have read so far, although I've admittedly only recently begun this quest in earnest. I wholeheartedly applaud this author for her exacting and uncanny ability to reach the reader with her brief and varied accounts of soul manifestation and recognition. She made me aware of the spiritual patterns and revelations that occur to us on both a small and large scale, when we are ready. How wonderful that we have enough people like Ms. Bodine around to affirm or reestablish our faith in the intricacy of God.

Incredible book. I was religious when I was younger but over the years I had become hardcore atheist but recently after my girlfriends death I had an extremely hard time dealing with it. I even considered suicide, but while looking for answers about life and death I came acrossed this book. After reading it not only was I able to deal with her passing, but it also rekindled my faith in God and gave me a sense of inner peace I never had before.

4.0 out of 5 stars Summary of the Soul, October 20, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Echoes of the Soul: The Soul's Journey Beyond the Light - Through Life, Death, and Life After Death (Paperback)
This is a short, easy to read book about the author's understanding of the soul. The topics include the soul's work in directing our life in order to learn our lessons, traveling out of body to solve our problems and communicate with other souls, the charactertistics of people whose souls are in different stages of advancement, what heaven is like, and communication with souls who have passed on. Each topic is covered briefly, but it seems to be a nice summary of many other books that deal with these topics in greater depth. It seems a good book for people just beginning to delve into a search for spiritual understanding.

Although I agree with the concepts of the book, and I do believe that there are psychics capable of seeing and hearing from the other side, I wasn't convinced that this author's psychic experiences were always authentic. As she does psychic readings with clients, their passed-on loved ones "speak" with generic responses. When clients ask for identifying proof that the communicating spirit is who the author says it is, the spirit suddenly seems to have amnesia. Although the author's ability may be authentic, her writing does not support credibility in it. I get the feeling that what she instructs the readers in has all been gathered from her own research of other authors in this field of spirituality/metaphysics. It is nevertheless, instructive for spiritual seekers, and corroborates the conclusions of other psychics and teachers in this field.

I so love this book! To me it is a reminder to every soul out there that we are not human beings having a spiritual experience we are spiritual beings having a human experience. We come down here to earth to learn, grow and do the best we can and then we go home - Graduate. I love it so much that I have given it to many of my friends. Thanks Echo!!
