the bottle says take 15-30 drops in warm water 2-3 times per day. I took 15 drops ONCE and 2 days later i had so much milk i could have fed twins. I didnt pump so all the extra went away after a few days. This time i only took 6 drops and still have plenty. This stuff is great if you pump and need to increase your supply to store milk for baby while youre away. It does make her diapers smell like pancake syrup and her first bowel movement after i took it was runny but i researched the herb and knew to expect that. This stuff works GREAT just start off slow unless u are feeding multiples :)

I'm not really sure it this works to increase milk production or not...I did see a small increase, but this may be because I was so worried about it that I started drinking gallons of water at the same time, it doesn't taste great but it's not impossible to take, I will probably keep taking it until I'm done nursing just incase it really is working.

my lactation consultant suggested 6000 mg/day, but this doesn't tell you how concentrated - just says 15-30 drops/1-3x day. Doesn't taste nearly as strong as Nature's Way.

The product is good. I hope using it over a period of time I will get the results I am looking for.
