So, I expected it would at least resemble the color of wheat.
Leona Metcalf
Also, with the way they are made, it is really difficult to get the hooks inserted.

It works well at blocking out the light and keeping down the heat.

I was pleased with the design, the material and the look of the hung curtains. I did have to work to install the slip-in hooks as the curtain seams were quite tight. However, after getting the hooks install the finished product met all my expectations. Since purchasing this curtain, I have bought other eclipse curtains, but have decided not to use a rod that requires slip-in hooks.

While the curtain seems sturdy enough, they are not neatly pleated curtains. There's only one stitch to hold the pleat. Consequently, they didn't even hold their shape during shipping. They are also made to fit multiple means of hanging them so they are not really great for any specific, i.e., not great for either a traverse rod on plain rod, but will do on either. Also, with the way they are made, it is really difficult to get the hooks inserted. If you're looking for a nice pleated drape, keep looking.

This is a nice curtain that does block a lot of light but it does allow more light through it then I would expect from a "Blackout" curtain. I do think this is a nice curtain and it suits my needs but the description is a little misleading. Therefore 4 out of 5 stars.

I didn't care for the color. It looked more tan or golden online but in reality it was gold with a greenish cast, not a pleasing color. It doesn't hang quite right from the rod and I'm not sure why. So I use it because am too lazy to return it for something I like better. I don't recommend this.

I purchased these curtains to replace a damaged panel, and to help insulate our patio door. While the curtain basically fills what I wanted, I was disappointed by the quality. The pleats are not well made, and I spent over an hour pressing out wrinkles.

The wheat color is more dark- I would lean to say brown.
I don't feel like it is a heat insulator. I have had curtains in the past that have insulated more. Does come wrinkly. I assume it will come out in the dryer (I have yet to take down and try).

The way the top was sewn made it difficult to put the hooks on. It doesn't hang exactly the way I would like it to.

Perhaps you were like me. You read a few reviews, especially the ones detailing how difficult it was to get the hooks in, and went, "It couldn't have been that bad if others managed it." You ordered the curtains.
Five minutes after spending time with it, if you were unfamiliar with curtains as I was, you would be wondering what genius stitched the pleats together so that one could not put hooks in - or use the rod sleeve if that was one's pleasure.
I've discovered the missing instructions.
Cut the stitches off. Voila! A traverse patio door curtain you can actually put hooks through. If using the rod sleeve, the task of snipping off the stitches for that seems more laborious than the ones for the hooks.
The color is more golden-brown, a darker color than the beige-y look in the photo. I have only owned it for less than 24 hours, and it has been up for less than 30 minutes at the time of this writing - at night. So far, it does what I purchased it for - be longer in both length and height than the ill-fitting curtains I had up before this to better block drafts. It hangs a couple inches off the floor, unfortunately, so I folded up my old curtains to use as draft blocker for the couple inches. As a noise reducer and blackout curtain, I cannot say.
