I've been looking for a non-breakable substitute for my daily Starbucks cup...I've put at least 5 trees to death with my coffee habit!

There are lots of ceramic cups on the market, but I'm not graceful enough to be trusted with them (plus, they're heavy). This melamine cup is a great solution, and it travels with me everywhere...car, stores, office, etc.

I've dropped it, hand-washed it, dish-washered it, left it in the car overnight in 20-degree weather...and it's still going strong.

Unfortunately, it's not microwaveable, but that's a small price to pay for the convenience and the lessened guilt adding all those paper cups to our landfills.

Don't confuse this with a thermos...it doesn't hold coffee heat much better than a paper cup...if you want that kind of retention, get a thermos and pour into any cup instead (even the metal insulated cups won't hold heat well because the lids are mainly plastic with sip holes, and plastic alone is not a good heat conserver).

This cup is a great product at a worthwhile price...it'll make a nice gift for my friends as well. Just hope the paper companies don't hate me.

Great service from the company - very speedy delivery!! I like the size, the material of the actual cup, but am disappointed in the lid. I washed it several times, but still get the taste and smell of rubber when I drink my coffee from this.

This is an awesome reusable coffee cup! The design is sleek; the cup is light and fits nicely into my hand. It's really easy to clean. An added bonus that it comes in the 12oz size, since a small coffee is all I need.

Cons: the lid does have a faint rubbery smell: I usually take it off before drinking coffee. Also, the "virtually unbreakable" claim is not true: I managed to crack my cup twice by dropping it on the pavement. My first cup lasted me a year, but I'm still willing to buy the exact same cup.
