About the Author

This is a timely book. Having a strong background in science, I can only shake my head at the vast amount of money being poured into changing laws and into "new technology" that is not ready for prime time. Changing how we use energy and how we manufacture is not something that can be done with a pile of cash and a wish. There is a lot of science that needs to be discovered and meanwhile, what do "carbon credits" do to your own economic situation and do they REALLY positively affect the environment or is it a secret way to destroy one economy in favor of another?
This book discusses those issues, from the Kyoto Convention down to "green energy." We've seen lightbulbs go from incandescent to "energy saving" fluorescent, yet no discussion of what mercury does to landfill and runoff, we are promoting electric cars with no adequate discussion of what happens to the batteries, the mining for rare earths and the use of current coal plants to power the charging of those batteries and the fact that many of these automobiles are just as polluting (if hybrid) at high way speed if not MORE than say, my clean diesel, which, by the way, can run on biofuel.
Is the Eco Revolution a way to make a cleaner environment, or is it a sneaky way to repress the developed nations for the purposes of disruption? This book contends there is more to the eco movement than just a desire to preserve the environment, and in fact, that is not actually the goal. That is a controversial position that many people will find disturbing, if not downright objectionable.
I'm absolutely in favor of clean air, water and preserving nature, as I know the way that pollution destroys our health and our lives, but I am also dubious of the false science and the burden placed on developed nations when scientific data is fudged or does not bear out the claims being made. Even if you heartily disagree with me, you should read this book and see if you agree or not, because it sheds a different light. If you only listen to one side of the argument, you do not get to truth. I listen to both sides and I think everyone ought to get more info on this lest we go down a path that doesn't accomplish a better enviroment but does cause destruction of many other kinds, whether unintended or intentional.

Most people who buy into the "green" mantra have no idea of it's origin or it's implications for their lives and liberty. Ecotyranny exposes the truth from its beginnings (Karl Marx) to its current incarnation (Al Gore and Global Whining). Having experienced the effects of Ecotyranny in California from out of control environmentalists and unelected bureaucrats, I can testify to the importance and timeliness of the book. WAKE UP AMERICA !!! Tyranny is at our doorstep and it will take a grass roots effort of concerned citizens to turn this around.
The good news is that Ecotyranny provides solutions (drill it, nuke it, dam it)and a call to action. Brian Sussman reminds us of the tremendous sacrifice of the Founding generation to start this country and encourages us to join the fight, to pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor. The time is now. Our liberty is on the line. Read the book, educate yourself and get involved.
If you care about liberty and the future of your children and grand children, this is a must read.

The masks are coming off, and Eco-Tyranny is a good word. I've stuck up an early review, and will finish it when I finish reading this book.
So why does this book deserve the highest rating? First off, to counter the coming blizzard of 1-star reviews and demagoguery by the Obamanoid trolls who mostly don't bother to read the books they are "reviewing," but lurk on Amazon to advance leftist political agendas through Saul Alinsky tactics. Secondly, because the author knows this subject well, and he writes truth. His Climategate book is excellent.

In a book, Ecoscience, that Holdren co-authored with Paul and Anne Ehrlich in 1977, the man now firmly in control of science policy in this country wrote that:
* Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not;
* The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation's drinking water or in food;
* Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise;
* People who "contribute to social deterioration" (i.e. undesirables) "can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility" -- in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.
* A transnational "Planetary Regime" should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans' lives -- using an armed international police force.
Impossible, you say? That must be an exaggeration or a hoax. No one in their right mind would say such things. Check it out.
