This book is a great introduction to the industry at large and all the channels and players involved. It gives well researched descriptions of strategies and initiatives taken on by various designers and entrepreneurs. It also has great resource listing at the back that will lead you to more current information. It's a must for fashion designers and industry professionals. I'm using it as a starting block for my thesis on sustainable fashioning.

The first and still the best book on eco fashion, not clothing, not apparel, not mixed in with interior design, but eco fashion. THE must have book on the topic and the standard all others are judged by.

As a graduate student I am using this book as a foundation for my research on sustainable fashion. It is an excellent resource that covers a range of topics related to the fashion life cycle and the fashion industry as a whole. This book is packed with information but easy to read.
