Sucralose is an artificial sweetener.

My husband loves it,drinks it every day and swears that it has really helped him feel better with reduced night leg cramps which is why I give it 4 stars.

I like the orange flavor more than the berry but it does what it is supposed to do.

First off I want to let any potential buyer of this product know that I rated my review according to the following criteria:

1) Taste of Product (4 stars)
2) Ease of Preparation (3 stars)
3) Suitability as Beverage Replacement (5 stars)
4) Vitamin Supplement (4 stars)
5) Zero Calorie Impact (5 stars)

I did NOT review the product on several criteria which have been mentioned by other reviewers:

1) Quality of the Water Bottle
2) Compliance with Being "All-Natural"
3) Reliability of Costco Salesforce

None of these criteria mattered at all to me in my purchase decision, and did not affect my ranking (although I will comment on these at the end).

In purchasing this product I was looking for something that I could drink to offset the way too much Diet Coke I drink on a daily basis. Plain water is just not appealing, although I certainly enjoy it after a good workout. There appear to be several "water enhancers" out there, but most of these are on the pricey side if you are going to be drinking three to four 16 oz. glasses a day.

For me the product tastes pretty good. It is sweet and tastes like an artificial fruit juice which you can acquire in the store, but it has zero calories. The preparation of the drink is for me the most unattractive part of the product, as the granular crystal which forms the base of the drink take some effort to get to dissolve fully. As advertised, the drink tastes better when chilled, and especially over ice. And as other reviewers have noted, it is still a little overpowering even when diluted with 16 oz. of water, and I always end up adding a little more water, with ice on top of it.

I have not experienced any of the negatives mentioned by other reviewers.

I purchased this product after the Costco sales rep mentioned people have said it helps stop leg cramps. I have been dealing with almost nightly leg cramps for several years now, no matter how much water or calcium I added to my diet. So, it really perked my interest when leg cramps were mentioned. Now, I seldom fall for the sales pitch, but I decided to give this one a try. Wow... I've been using this product for over 2 months and as long as I drink it at least once every 3 days, I don't have ANY leg cramps.

I too, get concerned with artificial sweetners and refuse to ingest aspertame, but I don't have any real issues with splenda used in limited quantities. I would prefer if it only had stevia.

Tastes great, but don,t mix 1 packet per 16 oz bottle. It's way too strong. I usually go with 32-40 oz and it still tastes very fruity.

I was searching for a nutritional supplement that I could take that I felt was balanced and tastes good. I am tired of taking pills and gummies are not balanced enough for what I was looking for. As far as the sucralose issue goes, after reading about Splenda (pros/cons) I realized that the articles I was reading used phrases like "studies have shown.." what studies? I cound find neither emipirical evidence or data to substantiate what the articles were stating (positive and negative). Also, none of the articles I read were written by any reliable medical/scientific sources, eg: USDA, Mayo Clinic etc. Many of the articles were fronts for someone trying to sell a book they wrote etc.

I saw this at Costco and decided to buy a box. Like many of the other posters, I do think that it is too sweet when made with the recommended amount of water. I double the amount of water and it is just perfect. I was told by my GI doctor that I needed to reduce the amount of Diet Coke I was comsuming everyday. I was devestated as I love the taste and texture of Diet Coke. Water alone just doesn't do it for me. I have found my replacement drink with this product! Like another reviewer stated, I too don't know why you would ding a product for the way Costco sold it. You are rating the product, not the sales pitch.

As far as finding the packets alone without a bottle, I went to the MFG website and they sell refill boxes of 60 packets for $45.95. I can't find the refills at any other source than the MFG. It wasn't hard to find, it just required a little bit of research.

I've taken multivitamins in tablet form off and on for years without much result. I stopped entirely when studies showed most pills go through the body with minimal absorption. I was skeptical when my husband brought the EcoDrink home from Costco. I figured lab rats in California must get tumors just looking at something so full of artificial colors and flavors.

Luckily, I'm not a lab rat. I tried it so as not to hurt my husband's feelings, and I'm glad I did. Within a couple of days, I noticed a decrease in the mental and physical "haze" that follows me around most of the day. I was alert and energetic, even after a full day at work. "All in my head," I convinced myself. Within a month, my fingernails--which have always split and peeled for as long as I can remember--started growing thick and strong. I've never had fingernails that I didn't have to glue on.

Is it right for everyone? Probably not. Will it fix every ill known to man? Highly doubtful. But for me, I'm thrilled to find a vitamin supplement that actually seems to work.
