I really don't like to wear shoes without socks, but after I got a pair of boat shoes I figured I'd have to do the barefoot shoe-rot thing or look like a dork with socks up my ankles. Then I discovered various manufacturers selling loafer socks. I tried Tommy Bahama Mens Signature Loafer Liner Socks, advertised as 67% pima cotton, 30% nylon, 3% spandex. They were $7.50 (buy 3 at $10, get one free), about the same as Ecoland. But when the Bahama socks arrived, they were 100% Tencel, a flimsy fabric made of wood pulp. They frequently slid off my heels. And sure enough, within a few weeks, holes appeared in the toe area. So I decided to try the Ecoland. To their credit, and mine, TommyB took theirs back without hassle and the CS lady promised to get the website misinfo fixed. (It's weeks later and that hasn't happened). But I love these Ecolands. The silicone strips keep them in place, the fabric is great, they're comfortable and they do the job as dork-dodgers as long as you don't reveal your "foot panties" by taking your shoes off in public.

Finally found no-show socks for women's shoe size 11-12! I've tried numerous brands and these are by far the best. Comfortable. Big enough! Wash well. Worth it!

i bought several loafer socks from jcrew, unfortunitely, those socks kept sliding off from back of my feet in the loafer. so i couldnt wear my loafer for a while. but i found these ecoland loafer socks w/silicon patch from amazon and couldnt believe these let me wear my lovely loafer again. this silicon patch works great. and i never had any bad experiences like before. i know it costs a bit more than any other socks though, it is worth it. bytheway, i wear size 9 RL loafer.

Not much detail to go into here: They are well made, organic cotton (always a big plus), a larger than normal silicon patch keeps them secure - they keep your feet cool and they eliminate the need to hunt down and shoot your stinky loafers before they get to the children.

I wear a size twelve shoe and these did not do the job at all. As soon as I started walking with them, they slipped. I have not found a pair of "no-show" socks that do what they are supposed to do.

Haven't had these for very long, so I don't know how they'll hold up to repeated washings, but so far they're great! I wear a women's size 10.5, and I was sick of spending money on shoe liners that wouldn't stay on my feet (women's liners usually fit up to size 10 only) These stay put, they're super comfy and they don't show at all. I thought it was a little much to pay at first, but it is so worth it.

Update: These shoe liners have proven really durable. I've been wearing and washing them frequently for several months now and they're still holding up. Absolutely worth the money.

I have tried a number of different "invisible" socks and this brand is one of the few that gets it right, even for low shoes and loafers. No more annoying little borders peeking out of your shoes. Plus the silicone patch on the heel helps the sock stay in place all day. Love these. PS: don't be misled by the word men's in the title, I wear size 9 women's shoes and they fit just fine.

The back of the sock slides off if your shoe is loose. The movement of the heel of the shoe seems to push the sock down. I wear a size 9 1/2 to 10 shoes and the socks are stretched to their max. I doubt that someone with a large foot would fit into them. But they do feel nice and do not show. I would buy them again.
