So far I have really enjoyed this book. I have read through the vegetation section and found it to be very informative. I'm pretty familiar with the research and literature covered in this section, and I still felt as though I gained new knowledge and perspectives. There seems to be alot of past research completed along the San Pedro and Stromberg does a great job of pulling it all together. If you are looking for a book that covers a broad range of mostly riparian and some aquatic topics in great depth (from ecologist's perspective) this would be a good book to buy. Most importantly, this book takes a great perspective in understanding all of the critical components of restoration ecology. For anyone interested in restoration ecology, this should be on the shelf.
