This review is from: Ecology (Loose Leaf)
I bought this text book for my ecology class. I love how its loose leaf since I can just take sections of it instead of lugging around a heavy textbook. The content of the text book is great, it provides lots of information and great visual aids to help students better understand the material.
I've seen the hardcover version of this textbook, and choosing between the two depends on what you're looking for. I find that the loose cover is cheaper to buy but harder to sell. If you plan to keep this text book and don't mind putting it in a three ring binder, I would go with the loose leaf. If you are rough with your text books and need something more sturdy, go with the hard cover version.

I like the loose leaf version. You can stick it in a binder to keep it together and you can easily transport it around, which I find useful because instead of lugging around a book all day just to read one chapter you can carry that one chapter around.

I bought this because it was much cheaper than buying it from a bookstore. My professor taught his class straight from the book so this was very helpful. It is easy to read and very informative. It was not too heavy to carry around either.
