Let There Be Light
Excellent product. The original lasted about 6 years. Initially was put off by the odd configuration and searched several web sites for information. Amazon had the least expensive bottom line including tax and shipping; and I expect this bulb to last as long or longer than the first. Easier to install than uninstall, we all have new learning experiences -- Good Luck.

STOP AND READ ME
I bought a bathroom light/fan with this bulb and I'm soOOOoo disappointed. The bulb needs a two minute warm up time to get the full spectrum of light. It is literally as dark as a night light for the first minute. After that, it's so-so and you'll have to wait the full 2 minutes before it reaches it's full warm up. I heard from the internet that Phillips bulbs do not have...

I heard from the internet that Phillips bulbs do not have the long warm up time so I ordered those from Amazon. I'll see how they work out and get back to you.
