This review is from: An Economic History of the United States: From 1607 to the Present (Paperback)
Although it takes about 20 pages to get used to the author's writing style, the information contained within the text is valuable.... He presents a unique perspective regarding the United States' rapid economic growth, with great coverage on subjects such as the original Republican Party, the social values of the different immigrant groups, insightful commentary on the policies of Hamilton, Jackson.... Overall, a very interesting book that covers the subject well.

Tedious, uses lots of undefined old terminology, and jumps around chronologically, however, full of information and worth the read |
