5.0 out of 5 stars The best anthology since A Mencken Chestomathy, February 16, 1999
This review is from: Economics of Liberty (Paperback)
For paleolibertarians, the Ludwig von Mises Institute is the intellectual fountainhead. Included in this volume is what comes out of the fountainhead: a delightful spray of right-on critiques of statism. This book is useful to bring along on long trips when you have hours on planes or trains and need to keep your brain cells in use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well-written economic genius, June 8, 2009
A collection of essays written by individuals of the Austrian school of economics, this book provides amazing insight into the fundamental differences between true Capitalism and socialism - and how socialism impacts a nation's quality of life. Extremely well-written and insightful, I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking a better understanding and accurate picture of Capitalism, both in theory and in an historical context. The Ludwig Von Mises Institute is astonishingly accurate, and the Austrian theory of economics should be widely read and understood throughout the US.
