This review is from: The Economics of Staging the Olympics: A Comparison of the Games 19722008 (Paperback)
I have worked with several Olympics organizing committees and this book makes an invaluable contribution to fairly limited, serious research on this subject. Although Preuss acknowledges the difficulties of comparing "apples" with "oranges" with different accounting methods used by different OCOG's, he manages to provide an excellent overview of the various components of revenue and costs which a future Olympics can anticipate. Well done!
