A cup of coffee ... no problem, maybe you prefer an espresso? No Problem!!, You can also determine the quantity and strength of your coffee and control it by filling your Ecopad with more coffee for more strength or less coffee for mild coffee lovers. Here are just a few examples: fill the Ecopad to the brim, and press the ground coffee Button and then you get less liquid but stronger espresso like strengthened coffee. You can use coarse ground coffee beans to get a weaker Coffee or use fine grinded coffee to get a stronger flavor. Once you will master your coffee with this Ecopad you will never go without it anymore. Practice makes perfect! Make sure to fill the Ecopad carefully, wait patiently until the coffee has fully dispensed into the cup, and then gently remove the Ecopad out of the machine and rinse well ... very simple!

Much more cost-effective than disposable filters and is easy to clean.

I have one of the single serve Hamilton Beach coffee makers, the professional model, and these work really well in it.

This is a good refillable filter, and works well in my machine which can make a double-sized (16 oz.) cup of coffee.

Just recently purchased the Hamilton Beach Personal Cup Stay or Go POD Brewer (Item model number: 49990) over the more popular brands because of the lower price point. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase because if I don't want to brew a large amount of coffee, I can brew a cup or two conveniently and swiftly with these Ecopads and the Hamilton Beach. Although the Senseo pods are pretty reasonable priced, they don't quite come in the varieties at the Keurig (but also don't come at their high prices too). So these Ecopads are a great solution! There's just a catch though... if you use regular coffee with a semi-coarse grind, the coffee comes out pretty weak and diluted. To work around this, you'll need to get the coffee a fine grind and a dark roast to get it just right. I believe these compensates for the reduced amount of water that passes through the filter to make 1 cup of coffee. I haven't tried this in a wide range of coffees yet (since I just got it). But I've tried it very successfully with some Vietnamese coffee... as mentioned earlier, this is due to it's fine grind and dark roast. Lastly, this is a bit off topic but for those of you that are curious as to which coffee I used, it was Trung Nguyen Vietnamese coffee. Excellent stuff!

I found these to be the perfect solution to my not being able to get senseo pods at a reasonable price problem. The coffee duck did not work but these work great. I took another poster's advice and bought a burr grinder which creates a fine grind. Bit of a pain in the neck but this is way cheaper than buying pods; if you can get them. These are worth the money. My advice is buy four....

The ecopad is extremely easy to use. I would recommend getting at least 8 pads so you can "fill ahead" and keep them in the fridge to keep fresh. The only thing I wish they would do is have green colored pads for decaf coffee.

Like many reviewers, my first try just filling the thing with finely ground coffee produced a very weak concoction you could hardly recognize as coffee. However, Here's what works for me. Being originally from New Orleans, I like fairly strong coffee. I found that using my burr grinder, even on the finest setting with regular beans yielded weak stuff. So I ordered the LeVazza Crema 'e Gusto pre-ground expresso bricks available on Amazon. I also ordered a 57mm tamper. About 2 rounded teaspoons of the LaVazza tamped in the pad produces a decent cup of coffee with a rich crema. As an old N.O. native I always have some ground chicory on hand. If I add about 1/2 teaspoon of the chicory before tamping, I get something I can really enjoy. This may, or may not be of help. Coffee, like wine, is all a matter of individual taste.

I bought these pods when Senseo pods were nowhere to be found. They work great and are easy to use and clean. Even better, I am able to have my favorite coffee ground for espresso and use it in my Senseo machine now. I recommend buying this four pack. It's nice to be able to have several pods ready to go for brewing.

Just got the Hamilton Beach coffee maker that makes 12 cups as well as the one to two cup on the side. Love the coffee pot and these are easy to use for the single cup one. Have had no problems with the coffee pot nor the pods. did not want a coffee pot using K cups. these are just so inexpensive.

I love it, it really works! I am so happy & so excited that now I can make any coffee using my senseo machine. Only one thing; this ecopad is large (like 2 pods) so you MUST HAVE, FIND, AND USE THE TWO CUP DISPENSER for your senseo machine for this gadget to fit. I used expresso coffee and it was excellent with nice foam. The pad is really easy to clean; empty out the coffee and rinse clean.

Another way to get great coffee from a Senseo machine. I have been using this product since I received it. It is delivers good coffee from canned/bagged coffee. I first had Dunkin Donuts grind and found coffee to be weak. I then bought Lavazza Caffe Espresso canned coffee and found this makes a better cup of coffee due to the finely ground beans. It was kind of strong and hard on my stomach. I like a light flavored coffee and at the supermarket this weekend I ground some eight o'clock coffee to Turkish consistency. I have been drinking this all weekend and it is delicious. Getting the coffee into the containers is not for the clumsy fingered, but not impossible either. I haven't made a mess yet, always filling over the bag or can. Oh, i still will use and buy pods but this is a great alternative.
