Fine book focusing on the formation of the US anti-toxics movement, including the experience of Love Canal and the important roles of grassroots activists and news media.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the best, but somewhat useful., April 22, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Ecopopulism: Toxic Waste and the Movement for Environmental Justice (Social Movements, Protest and Contention) (Paperback)
This book was used in an Environmental Justice-centered course I took, and frankly, I found it lacking in scope. Perhaps it would have been more useful for a course with a sociology focus.
