I liked the smell (light citrus) of this laundry detergent so much I decided to start washing all my clothes in it. It's milder than other detergents so it's great if you have sensitive skin. I used to buy laundry detergents free of dyes & perfumes due to skin sensitivity & asthma. I decided to give this a try with my delicates and found that it cleans everything including towels & bedding. I alternate using soap nuts & this detergent. Since replacing all my cleaning products with Ecover products I have had no trouble with my asthma or chronic cough. I'm not a doctor and I'm not paid to promote Ecover. This is just my experience and I won't go back to using other products again.

FYI: My order arrived in one medium sized cardboard box with each bottle wrapped in plastic, no added cardboard or individual boxes.

This stuff is great. I have been using it for a few years, and every time I try to use something else--like Woolite or BioKleen--I miss my good 'ole Ecover. It smells great (citrus), cleans well, and leaves my delicate clothes soft. Glad to be able to buy it in bulk! Saves me money and time trying to find it in stores.

Smells great! I use it for all types of fabric and it works really well.

I use this on most of my laundry and it does a great job. Only complaint is that there isn't much of a scent, but I'll get over it.

This stuff is great. I use it on ALL my laundry. It takes out stains, even grease, if put directly on them. I will not use anything else.

I've been using this soap for years now, it works very well for cleaning hand wash items gently and thoroughly and a little amount goes a long way.

I love this detergent, it gets my clothes (and my cloth diapers!) clean without any sort of residue that makes them smell good but feel weird. Just light and fluffy clean clothes! The packaging is kind of ridiculous but that's not really Ecover's fault. Or Amazon's, actually. Once I got a bottle that had started to leak. I was really glad for all the packaging because it might have completely leaked out otherwise!

I do! Ecover's whole line of products is awesome though I wish they were made in the US. Their spot treatment, dish soap, auto dishwashing tablets and powders, and laundry liquid are all equally effective, clean rinsing, and biodegradable. Amazon's packing is TRULY wasteful I mean COME ON! The photo that another reviewer posted is completely accurate, what a WASTE!!! I find it important to use more natural products but when they get shipped with so much packaging it really negates the purpose...

A huge box arrived today, contained these six 32oz bottles that Amazon sells as a single order. It took me about 15 minutes to open up the big carton, then the 6 individual cartons within that carton, then remove the single bottle that was shrink-wrapped to another chunk of cardboard within that cardboard, bust down everything and jam it into the recycling bin.... Luckily all the cartons were kept safe from each other with an ample supply of plastic pillows. I haven't even used this stuff yet and I feel awful for purchasing it - there is no reason for this appalling waste of cardboard, plastic and shipping resources to get 6 plastic quarts of liquid from their warehouse to my house - it's packed as though it were ceramics!

I'm expecting the soap itself will be excellent. But the sad irony of wasting so much plastic and cardboard to ship this product - which Amazon sells in lots of six - just breaks my heart. I've uploaded an image of the earth carnage above.

I hope Amazon reconsiders such wasteful packaging in the future. There's absolutely no reason this couldn't be shipped in a box 1/4 the size and without any separation between the bottles - it's just laundry detergent!
