I have been using this laundry wash for years. Thank you, Amazon, for now carrying it. It is good for the environment AND is a good cleaner. (I use a cup of vinegar in my rinse water as well.) I like this Ecover product better than Seventh Generation.

While i was very pleased with the actual detergent, paying $50 for enough detergent to wash only 120 loads of laundry (20 loads per bottle) is hardly a bargain. The decievingly small cap would make you think the detergent was highly concentrated. Hovever you need to use 2 or more capfulls for a regular load (per the directions on the bottle). There are much better deals out there for quality, concentrated detergent.

I'm so excited to be able to buy this product in bulk on Amazon!This is one of the best natural laundry washes out there, and i've tried them all. I'm a mother of three kids who have a love affair with dirt so i need something with strength.This detergent gets the stains out, wont leave a residue on cloth diapers(i use Fuzzi Bunz brand),smells wonderfully fresh, and is great for the planet.If you buy in bulk, it's cheaper than most detergents at the store.Thank you, Amazon, for having this product availible.

5 Stars for cleaning ability, environmental safety & recyclable packaging. I'm not deducting anything for MY dislike of lavendar. I tried this and would use it if I had to & highly recommend it if you like the scent of lavendar or if strong scents don't bother your allergies. I use Ecovers delicate wash for all my laundry needs because it's gentle on the skin & lightly scented with a touch of citrus. I would like to see Ecover produce this laundry detergent with a lighter scent. It's a great product and I don't think you'll be disappointed. And once again, Amazon's price can't be beat!

Like other natural laundry detergents, costly...

but this has the most natural, pleasant scent...just the right amount!

If you're not looking for that, just use cheaper, scent & dye free products from the regular grocery store. Most, if not all, are biodegradable.

If you are looking for a product that will do an excellent job on washing laundry yet still not having a negative impact on the environment. This is the product. I would recommend to everyone.

I bought this detergent because it was recommended on the FuzziBunz website. You are supposed to use detergent free of dyes and perfumes on the cloth diapers, but the Ecover has lavender scent added. The product smells great, but is not okay for my daughter with sensitive skin. We chose a scent free, dye free herbadetergent from Vaska (on [...]).
