UP DATE:
The frame of the cart has slowly deformed, bowing out so that now the drawers drop out of the slides. For this, I would lower my rating to only three stars if I could. I am also going to try to bring the frame back to true and will update the review with my progress. Original Review: I bought this organizer cart to organize the family legos (we have about 50 pounds of legos). This cart is working perfectly for its purpose. That is why I have given it 4 stars. Below is a more detailed review. Looks - I like the way it looks, very neat. A lot more attractive then the all-plastic drawer units from Sterilite. Efficiency - love it. This unit packs a lot of storage into a very small footprint. Quality - pretty good for $100 dollars, but this is not a piece of heirloom furniture. Not hard to put together. Everything fits, the drawers slide easily and are designed with a "stop" so that when you are putting them back you can't accidentally push them all the way through the frame. I have loaded the drawers with Lego bricks and small toys, like matchbox cars, and so far no problems. In comparison, I have a similar piece from Ikea with plastic boxes as drawers and a wood frame (Trofast). In the Ikea piece if you put anything with any real weight into the drawers, for instance, the matchbox cars, they deform slightly and pop out of the wooden frame, and then twist and bind. Very frustrating for my little boy. On the other hand, the cart is quite lightly built. It won't take a lot of abuse and does not really give you a work surface. The frame is made of very thin steel pipes, screwed together, and the steel top is also very lightweight -- it is perforated, for some reason, too. So don't plan on putting a microwave on this thing. I have used it to assemble a lego model -- that it can handle, but not much more. I don't expect it to last a lifetime, either. The frame is not braced in any way and I expect it will begin to "rack" after a couple of years. I would not plan on putting heavy items in this cart and then rolling it around a lot. In short, whether or not I would recommend this piece depends entirely on what you are planning to store in it and how much you are planning to move it around. If you are looking for a kitchen cart that can take a lot of weight and a lot of abuse, this is not the piece for you. If you are trying to put away a large quantity of relatively light-weight craft items or toys, this unit is hard to beat for making efficient use of a small space.

I purchased this to use in my classroom for math manipulatives. It has worked fine, but the drawers are difficult for my 4th graders to use. We remove the drawers during math time. When kids go to put them back in the tracks, they have some difficulty placing them in. It is also a bit unstable. I have had to tighten the bolts a few times in the two weeks that I had it before summer vacation. I hope it lasts longer than a few years because the cost was a bit high. It would be great for a home storage solution, rather than at a school where it gets high usage.

This was a purchasing mistake. I am now using 2 of the drawers as Kitty-litter boxes. The frame is sturdy and well made, the drawers are strong and attractive. However, the damn drawers don't stay in the slides and are always crooked and falling down into the drawer below it. I have been careful not to overload the drawers and make them too heavy, but it still happens. They are just a real pain in the butt!!!! Don't waste your money unless you need 20 colorful kitty-litter boxes . . . then it's a great buy!
