I think it well depicts the strong will of the herino, who determines to find her missing mother and brother before she goes for the trial of murdering the wicked ranch owner. The hero of the story also shares strong will and it makes a good pair. enjoyable.

Ecstasy's Trail by Elaine Barieri, July 22, 2007
This review is from: Ecstasy's Trail (Paperback)
This is the story of Billie Winslow who killed the richest man in Texas after he attacked her and beat her nearly to death. She escapes dressed as a boy and gets a job on a cattle drive to Montaina run by our hero Rand Pierce. The story has a great plot and includes a side romance with secondary characters that had depth to the story.
The story is a good historical discription of a long cattle drive and the town life in the path of the drives north. The plot has some unexpected turns that hold your interest and is another good romance by Ms. Barieri!
