I've tried so many different products for my hand eczema, just got softer hands, but still flaring and icthing, and finally hurting. Spent tons of money on all sorts of stuff, even corticoids. They'd help for a while and it comes back right away as soon as you stop using it daily.
Triderma dries them out and it takes really long, months for them to come back, then if you apply once or twice, gone again!!

Don't understand why you canj find it just everywhere!
Love it!!!

**I'm posting this review on my husband's account, not my own (I actually don't have one)
I never leave reviews, but this product is working so well that I wanted to let others know how it has helped my son.

He is now a little over 4.5 months old and has had eczema spreading across his forehead and down to his cheeks since he was two months. The pediatrician originally gave us an anti-fungal cream to manage the rash, but there was no effect. At his 4 month well-check, we received a Rx for Alclometasone Dipropianate Cream, USP 0.05%. It worked amazingly well, and his skin was soft and smooth in 4 days. But, the label says that it's not recommended for children under 1 and the pediatrician was very clear that we not exceed 7 days of use and that we cease use earlier once his skin cleared. His skin remained clear for about a day and a half, but then a small patch of rash appeared on his forehead.

We began using Cetaphil lotioin to moisturize throughout the day and California Baby Calendula Cream, in an attempt to control the inflammation without the use of steroids (several reviews and message board posts mentioned its effectiveness). The combination seemed to slow the spread of the rash, initially, but his face and cheeks were soon covered again (worse than before we used the Rx cream).

We discontinued use of the Calendula cream, thinking it might be too strong and causing irritation. We continued with the Cetaphil, which seemed to provide temporary moisture and relief from the itching, but did nothing to control the rash and required numerous applications throughout the day.

A co-worker informed me that she has been using TriDerma to control her son's eczema since he was an infant (he's now 2), and suggested that I give it a try.

My adult daughter has suffered from eczema since she was an infant. It is so bad on her hands that they crack and bleed and sting. Every time I see a new eczema product I pick it up for her to try, but nothing could get it under control except steroids that she hesitates to use often. She has been using this cream for 3 days now and reports that she LOVES it. She said it is clearing up and softening the skin on her hands. She is so happy, and so am I.

I have had Dyshidrotic Dermatitis (aka hand and foot eczema) for 20 years. I have used varying strengths of topical steroids and the highest strength would help somewhat, but as soon as I stopped using it, it would come back. I have tried every eczema treatment I could find, so I tried this one too. I have not yet finished the first tube and the exczema on my feet is essentially gone. I'm thinking it is the colloidal oatmeal which is the only active ingredient in this product and I probably should have tried oatmeal as a home remedy long before this. I'm thinking that those of you whose eczema got worse after using this, might also have an allergy to gluten. While pure oatmeal is supposed to be gluten free, I don't think most of it is, probably including what they use in this product.

In my never-ending pursuit of a non-steroidal lotion to help treat my eczema, I tried this TriDerma Eczema cream and it caused me to flare up so badly I needed to resort to the steroid ointments, again.

For some people, this may work just fine. For others, it may be a nightmare.

Certainly do test this on a small area for several days before trusting it on your entire body--wish I could take my own advice, sometimes, as it would save me a lot of discomfort.

And, DO NOT get this in your eyes. It is difficult to wash completely off your hands, and if you wear contacts be sure to get all of it off before cleaning your lenses. I found this out the hard way.

i see this cream has some bad reviews- i dont really think that is the fault of the cream, its only because people's skin varies and different products work differently for different people.

i have eczema on my face and nothing has cleared it up in about 2 years. i found this cream and tried it- it worked great! depending on how bad my skin is at the time, it can burn quite a bit for about 15 minutes after i put it on. but it is much better than having ugly eczema on my face! if i put it on during the day, usually by the next morning my flare-up is almost completely gone!! it has worked wonders for me, even during my worse flare-ups. usually when i see it coming on my face, i use this and it keeps it away. or when im lazy and havent thought to put it on or have forgotten it at home while im on a trip, i just start using it again as soon as possible and within 2-3 days it is gone.

does it burn? yes. but does it work? yes!! for me it has anyways. i am buying 3 more bottles while i can find it so cheap and telling my other friends who suffer from eczema about it to see if it will work for them.
