4.0 out of 5 stars They Love It!
My boys really wanted this game, but after reading the reviews here, I tried to talk them out of it, but they LOVE the show so really wanted to get the game. We bought it here and they LOVE the game! My boys are 8,9 & 10, and really enjoy games that are fun and silly. The only real bummer is that it is only a 1 player game- it would be perfect if it were a multi-player.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm More ED-cited !!!, March 16, 2006
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Ed, Edd 'n Eddy The Mis-Edventures (Video Game)
This is a really nice game no matter which system you get it for; especially if you're a huge fan of the show like me. First off, this features impressive gameplay with awesome 3-D graphics. Heck, they've still got the squiggly outlines right; even in 3-D form ! Next, there are some great special features with no needed codes like a feature with the cast members who do the voices of the Eds and the Plank music video ! You can garner these cool extras by finding chickens in each level.

Now in this game, you play all three Eds in their neverending hijinks for jawbreakers. In fact, you can find jawbreakers if look real hard in each level. There's even a jawbreaker dispenser somewhere in the game, but you got to have a certain amount of cash on hand to get them. Playing all three of the Ed characters can be tough, but quite fun in a way. As Ed(the one with the eyebrow), you can pick up objects and throw them and using the "Batter-Ed" move to smash through walls and stuff. As Edd(the one with the hat), you can use his slingshot to his distant objects to make them fall, use his wit to activate machines, and use the "Trampol-Edd" move to go a little higher. As Eddy(take a guess), use the "El Mongo Stink Bomb" to stun your opponents and use "The Tower of Eddy" move to walk across thin walkways, sneak around, and grab high items within reach.

You can even interact with the other characters from the show, but watch out for those squirrels ! There are a couple of bonus levels that seem reminicent of the Eds' Halloween special as well as those special features I aforementioned.

Overall, this is game, though fairly short in full play, is a very nice one. Cartoon Network may not have much in video games (i.e. Dexter: "Mandark's Lab" for PS1, Powerpuff Girls: "Chemical X-traction" for N64 and PS1, and Cartoon Network: "Speedway" and "Block Party" for GBA), but they seem to have caught up now with this and a new Kids Next Door game. I hope you enjoy this as much as I have. And one more thing: they have seem to released this game just in time for the new ED-isodes on TV ! I'm starting to like those, as well.

This game is not that long and some of the levels are really short. I could beat it in a day if I played it straight (Including the bonus levels) Its really not a hard game and has great levels. Its a good game if you were like 8 or younger. So I if you have children under 8 you should really get it if they like Ed Edd'n Eddy.

4.0 out of 5 stars A very welcoming title to the Ed Edd n Eddy series, but there are a few flaws worth noting., April 27, 2010
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Ed, Edd 'n Eddy The Mis-Edventures (Video Game)
Ed Edd n Eddy: The Mis-Edventures is a very fun platform game.

There are multiple levels that you play in the game, and in each on you play as either Ed, Edd or Eddy. Each of the Eds has his own abilities that can be used in various ways.

This game is a very welcoming title to the Ed Edd n Eddy franchise.

However, there are multiple flaws about this game that are worth noting.

1) The game too short overall.
There are about 6 levels or so, and each one takes about 20-30 minutes to complete.
2) The animated cut-scenes are poorly made compared to the actual TV show.
3) The challenges in the game can be too easy at times.
4) Some of the gameplay elements can be somewhat repetitive every now and then.
5) There really isn't much (if anything at all) to do after completing the game.

But the un-animated cut-scenes are very well constructed, the voice acting is perfect, and the plot for each level is well written.

Most people think that once you beat a video game you'll never want to play it over again, but with this game you would want to play it at least 20 times! This game is so much fun cause it has interactive characters and play in levels based on episodes from the show! It's also funny because when you get to visit various places like peach creek junior high, the caul de sac, the sewer, the haunted house, and the kanker's trailerpark. Also you can put on weird disguises. IT IS ENDLESS FUN!

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Game, But Kind of... Boring!, June 27, 2008
A Kid's Review
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Ed, Edd 'n Eddy The Mis-Edventures (Video Game)
I bought this game thinking it would be just like the TV show... it was well... not excactly but really close.

Gameplay
As far as Gameplay goes I give it a 5/5 for Gameplay. Alot of recycled jokes and sayings from the show were givin in this game, and a little bit of stratergy too.

Controls
Controls in this game I give a 4.5/5. Some times the Ed's attacks won't even work when you hit the button, but it is really fun to figure out the controls and use them.

Sound
Excellent sound makes this game nicely touched. Some people say they don't really care about the sound but I do. They really did alot of music from the show too.

Graphics
There are some harsh reasons this game is getting terrible ratings. One of them is that people are saying that the games graphics are terribly introduced, like just falling into the ground and stuff. Other people say that the game just needs that little support, so the Ed's feet won't be underground.

Color
This game is vividly compressed with coloration. My eyes were so tired after playing this game awhile I slept for 10 hours!!

Backround
The backround is just like the TV show (which I don't mind) with a paper referance. The paper referance is like your standing next to a backround and you move your camera and it looks like paper. This is really noticable in Scam 6. As for as the pop-ups that tell you what you have and stuff... I really don't like them. They look just like the paper referance.

Game Lasting (How long it entertains you)
This game is pretty fun and I think it will last you a good 2 hours if you already played the game and are starting a new file. Some stuff for the beginners is it will last you probably a good 4 hours for starting a new file. Once you beat a file it might be boring to just do the game again, but is this right. Well there's a yes to a no in this question. The yes answer would be like playing the game again with the same story line. The no answer I came up with is this, if you haven't played this game in awhile like 4-7 months, trust me it would actually be fun to play through the whole game again.

Overall
Overall this game is a good 4/5.
But I would suggest to rent it before you do anything else.

I will admit, I'm not a hardcore gamer, I can't handle really hard games. This game is somewhat easier, and allows some exploring. The puzzles are pretty appropriate to the cartoon. [..], same as the general concept of many of the cartoon shorts. You control the 3 Eds together, selecting each Ed as appropriate. All 3 Eds have their unique moves, attacks, and a special combo that utilizes the Eds as a group.

The sounds are perfect. The voices are all the same from the cartoon, the sound effects are all there, and the music is great to listen to. The 3D models of the Eds are a little rough, but easy to work with. They could have made the characters a little more expressive, especially in the cut-scenes, but the overall quality of the game is really good. It's a fun game for kids and those that are kids at heart. The gameplay is very responsive, but the controls can be a little confusing. I'd suggest wandering the cul-de-sac for awhile, trying the different modes until you get the hang of what button does what. What's interesting about this game is that you don't have a health meter, you have a coolness meter. If you run out of coolness, you start again from a little ways back, you essentially have infinite "lives".

4.0 out of 5 stars A review of Ed, Edd, & Eddy's Mis-Ed-ventures, February 3, 2006
By
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Ed, Edd 'n Eddy The Mis-Edventures (Video Game)
We really like the television show, "Ed, Edd, & Eddy," and so we purchased this game.

This game has basically the same plot most of the Ed, Edd, & Eddy episodes have: The Eds have to scam the children of the cul-de-sac to buy as many jawbreakers as they can. However, they have to use 3 characters on one team, each having different moves.

However, this game is just a little too short. There are only 6 levels in the game, but then again, what do you expect from the cul-de-sac? Also, Enemies keep attacking us so it's harder for us to get the goal when the Eds' health decreases and you get "DORKS!" all over the screen. We also tried using the tips in the end of the instruction manual and they are only semi-helpful.

Before we purchased this, we got Sonic Heroes for Christmas. Sonic Heroes is similar to Ed, Edd, & Eddy's Mis-Ed-ventures, due to the three-characters-on-one-team rule, but there are more teams to choose from, and the characters have different moves, including the team blast ability, so enemies won't keep attacking us. Also, the game is longer and each team has a different focus.

Overall, 3.5 stars. Nice concept, but generally too challenging for us, and nothing that brings us back for more. We prefer Sonic Heroes over this game. Still, if you are interested, you might consider renting it first.
