My father served as the Captain of Company "A" Texas Rangers and Company "C" Texas Rangers (obviously at different times in his career). His picture is in this book numerous times and Ed Gooding talks about him often. I knew Ed Gooding (and his beautiful wife, Lena) personally and you could never meet a greater person. I'm very proud to have called him friend.
