Great book....Great man,

My father served as the Captain of Company "A" Texas Rangers and Company "C" Texas Rangers (obviously at different times in his career). His picture is in this book numerous times and Ed Gooding talks about him often. I knew Ed Gooding (and his beautiful wife, Lena) personally and you could never meet a greater person. I'm very proud to have called him friend.

Ed Gooding served his nation as a soldier on the battlefields of Europe and returned home and served the State of Texas as a dedicated peace officer. This man's service to his country over the past 60 years is amazing. I am proud to call him a friend.Randy Sillavan |
