I spent summers on my grandfather's farm which backed up onto the Letort in teh late 1940's. My mother lived as a youngster on the other side. I spent a lot of time there unsuccessfully fishing as a kid. I enjoyed the book because of the stream description as did family members like my mom and I enjoyed the flies. I am too big to be stealthy, so I fish for smallmouth in big water, but I love the Shenk's White Streamer as do other smallmouth fly fishers.
