The Edda by Snorri Sturluson is the main source for the old mythology of Scandinavia. Snorri Sturluson (1179-1241) was a member of an influential Icelandic family and author of a history of Norwegian kings, of the Edda, and of many other books. Skribita per la kristana auxtoro Snorri Sturluson en la mezepoko en Islando, La Edda, malgraux la kredo de gxia auxtoro, estas fascinanta rakonto de la kredoj de la antikva kulturo de la vikingoj kiun, almenaux plejparte, gxia auxtoro prezentas sen treega antauxjugxo. I know the Eddas very well, and this translation of the Prose/Younger Edda into Esperanto, by an Icelandic Esperantist, is an excellent one. Mi konas tre bone la "Eddas" kaj cxi tiu traduko de la Proza Edda estas tre bone farita kaj tre legebla, ecx por novaj geesperantistoj.
