This collection of essays provides various angles, and perspectives, on Eddic scholarship, including matters of form, function, and content. Each essay is by a foremost authority on the subject, including H. R. E. Davidson, Einar Haugen, and others.

Each essay is a gem which has challenged the way I have seen the Eddas. I would highly recommend this work for serious students of the Eddas including those who wish to pursue Asatru and related traditions seriously.
