Very beautiful chair and my 23 mo.-old likes it and still fits in it fine. I keep all his bibs and some washcloths on the shelf on the back, which saves precious drawer space in my kitchen. He did go through a short phase where he would pull them all off and throw them on the floor, so depending on your kid's personality, you may not want to store things there!

The main thing I don't like is that there is a little gap between the top removable tray and the main tray right in front of his tummy, so any drips/spills/crumbs collect in there and then I just have 2 trays to clean. They should have made it so the edge of the removable tray curved over the bottom tray a little so nothing could get in there. It is nice that you can just throw the removable tray in the dishwasher, though.

Another minor issue is that when I have the seat pad off to wash it, my son complains that the little ledge on the backrest hurts his back. He's on the smaller side, so doesn't have a lot of "padding," so maybe that's part of it. I usually try to wash it after he's in bed and hang it up to dry overnight so it's ready for breakfast or at least lunch the next day. Not a huge deal the majority of the time, though.

The highchair was easy to assemble.

We really like this wooden highchair. We have a pub height table and the highchair is perfect for our little girl to sit at the table with us.

There is a "permenant" front bar with small tray, so she can sit in it without the main & snack trays attached. We've found it super easy to keep clean.

We use the back shelf for a small bin of bibs, which is really useful.

If we unscrew the "permenant" front bar/tray the chair pushes right up to the table and will be perfect height for her to eat at the table when she outgrows use of the trays. This is a really nice feature as this seat has the appropriate seat size and has wooden arm rests that will make it safer for her to sit with us at the table when she is a toddler/pre-schooler.

We can see getting years of use out of this. It matches our dark wood set nicely.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture that blends in very nicely with our dining room. However, I should note that the "Eddie Bauer" logo, as well as the piping on the seat cover are pink. It looks so unisex in the picture, I didn't even think twice about it being for a girl. I guess the name "Michelle" should have tipped me off. Nevertheless, our little guy will still be using this gorgeous, albeit somewhat feminine, highchair. I have not used this highchair enough yet to give a detailed review of the functionality of the chair; however, I am looking forward to using it more.

***UPDATE*** 08-14-2013

So, we've been using this high chair for about a year and a half, and it definitely has some pro's and con's. I haven't noticed any of the "comfort issues" that some of the negative reviewers have mentioned - my son has always acted perfectly comfortable in it. In fact, I got sick of trying to keeping the padded cover off to wash, so I just removed it completely when he was about 18 months old, and he still seems comfortable. I actually like the fact that the top tray removes. There are a lot of days where I serve breakfast, and don't get around to fully cleaning the top tray until later in the day. On those days, it is very handy to just remove the top tray and let him eat lunch on the bottom portion. I will say that with all of the wood slats, it is difficult to keep this high chair clean - but I'm sure that is the case with most high chairs. I do also like that the trays are dishwasher safe. The little diddy in the description that claims, "Convenient mealtime storage is out of baby's reach" is somewhat laughable. If you have a toddler, you know what I mean. Overall, if you want a highchair that blends in with traditional furniture - the "cons" are probably worth it for this chair.

I have had this High Chair for 3 Years now. I has stood up to two children so far. I love the how easy the tray is to move and also love that it is very stylish. Two down sides, it cannot be made smaller and the wood is very soft so using abrasives on it will put grooves in the wood itself. The Finish is very pretty but is very thin. I would recommend to anyone looking for something easy to use and for someone that has enough room to keep it out. I really looks good with regular dining furniture.

This cherry colored high chair matched the other Eddie Bauer accessories perfectly! My daughter used this from a few months old when she was able to sit up and now she was three years old! I just put it up in the attic. Would highly recommend! Cute storage in the back for bibs and little toys.

This high chair is so awesome! Not only is it gorgeous, but it has a tray insert so the mess can be easily washed off in the sink. There is also a little storage compartment/shelf under the seat! It was a bit more difficult to assemble than I thought it would be, but definately worth it!

My son and daughter-in-law love this high chair. It is sturdy and handsome looking... so much nicer than those over-sized plastic high chairs that are so popular today.
