My 19-month old and I have had the misfortune to actually test this car seat in an accident. We were involved in a roll-over, in which the vehicle cleared a ditch and rolled over twice, landing to rest on the passenger side, in which she was seated. I was badly bruised and received three stitches in my hand. However, my daughter remained completely safe in her Eddie Bauer booster (she was forward-facing in the 5-point harness) the entire time, has not a scratch on her (miraculous since more than half of the vehicle's windows were shattered), and sustained no bruises or whiplash. I originally purchased this seat because of the pretty fabric and great features that other convertible boosters do not have. I will be re-purchasing it (the seat cannot be reused after an accident) because I now have 100% faith in its strength and protection of my little girl. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to this wonderful product.

This is a great car seat well worth the money. I like the amount of padding put into the seat, it doesn't eat the baby and it is still comfortable. This car seat is also great rear facing, especially if your vehicle is equipped with the latch system.I also like how far back the seat will recline so the baby can rest without having to try and hold his/her head up while they nap. The only reason i did not give a 5 star is because of minor inconveniences such as: rear facing;-incline handle hard to operate between car seat and automobile seat. second, the lap belt can be tricky to run through car seat and secure until you get the hang of it (unless your vehicle has the latch system and then it would be a breeze). All in all this is a great seat.

This is the second Eddie Bauer car seat we buy. The first one is still working fine for our 3 year old and the second car seat works great for our 1 year old. It is comfortable, easy to setup and the multiple positions allows the seat to be reclined so the baby can sleep. My girls love it.

This is just like the other one we have. Description is spot on. Our Daughter loves the pink fabric. I also like the safety latches will attached to the side of the seat, so when transporting the straps are not all over the place.

I'm looking for a car seat for baby # 3 and debating on getting an infant carrier which I've had so many troubles with or another Safety First Alfa Omega seat which is good from 5-100 pounds, The Eddie Bauer seat is only good from 5-80 (both seats are made by the same manufacturer). That's the only real difference I see between this seat and the Alfa Omega, the Alfa Omega also has covers on the arm rests and the price, we paid $108 for the Alfa Omega (Lamont) right here on Amazon.
