1.0 out of 5 stars After 4 kids and many products I highly dissapprove of this system! Do not spend the money!, September 9, 2009
This review is from: Eddie Bauer Endeavor Travel System (Toy)
I had my 4th child last fall and since it was time for a new stroller I decided to go with the old addage that you get what you pay for.....wrong! I agree with previous comments that the infant carrier is hard to use. It is the first one that I bought as a system and I thought the comfy fabric would make it worth the extra hassle. The buckle was very difficult to latch and was a constant hassle until we switched to the convertible carseat. The stroller has been an absolute nightmare. After a couple months of using it, the side bars started catching and not opening when I needed to open it. It took 3 hands to hold the bars in place while simultaneously opening the stroller...not easily done when I'm alone and definately not happening while holding the baby. There have been many times where I was away from home and needed the stroller but absolutely could not get it to open because these bars are not lining up right. My husband looked at it and showed me where to hold the bars in, which helped but I still needed to do acrobatic maneuvers to get the thing to open. Today I threw it back in the trunk after fighting in the 90degree heat with a screaming baby....it just would not open. I carried my daughter through the mall, which is so hard to do while trying to get bday gifts for my other child. I have 4 kids. There are times I absolutely need a dependable stroller....I do not have it. So I called Dorel....no luck...in the best case scenario they'll discount me another of their strollers if management approves....but I still have to shell out more money for a brand that I'm not happy with and it'll take a good month. I'm not wasting another penny on this company. I thought maybe they'd replace it (it's rusting all over the place and has never gotten wet....just from the air humidity....I take good care of it) but they won't. So I told them I'd go online and review it and buy something else. I think we'll go with the Chicco brand....great reviews and looks like it'll hold up for the next 2-3 years that I need a stroller. I thought Eddie Bauer was a reputable brand but learned my lesson the very hard and expensive way. Hope this helps someone else from not making the same mistake we did..

3.0 out of 5 stars Keep looking, November 13, 2008
This review is from: Eddie Bauer Endeavor Travel System (Toy)
Overall, it works and seems like a safe, quality product. Would I buy it again knowing what I know now (have been using it for 5 weeks)? NO.
Pro: softer fabric than most travel systems, good padding, nice pattern
Con: buckle in infant carrier is very wide- we have to bend my daughter's legs so her knees point out, otherwise it is digging into her inner thighs. stroller and carrier are very heavy and cumbersome to load in the car. easy to understand but takes forever to adjust shoulder straps.

1.0 out of 5 stars stroller crotch strap does not work most of the time, September 30, 2010
This review is from: Eddie Bauer Endeavor Travel System (Toy)
I originally bought the Eddie Bauer Bertini system. The car seat is wonderful. But the stroller is a nightmare. The crotch strap broke after 2 weeks. And I did not abuse it in any way. The company sent me The Endeavor system as a replacement. The same thing happened. The design of the crotch strap is horrible. I struggle with it most of the time. Half the time at least one side does not click into position. At times, neither side clicks into position. It is extremely frustrating! The strap needs to be redesigned.
