5.0 out of 5 stars Love it! Very Worth the $$$$ Owned it for 2 1/2 yrs
This was a fantastic stroller, we have it in a different color but the same one. My husband was very skeptical at first b/c it looked "big". But he loves this stroller now! We used it through 6 Disney vacations and our daughter is now 2 1/2 (we now have 2 daughters so we have a double stroller, now I would recommend the baby trend DOUBLE sit & stand! I had my 4th child last fall and since it was time for a new stroller I decided to go with the old addage that you get what you pay for.....wrong! I agree with previous comments that the infant carrier is hard to use. It is the first one that I bought as a system and I thought the comfy fabric would make it worth the extra hassle. The buckle was very difficult to latch and was a constant hassle until we switched to the convertible carseat. The stroller has been an absolute nightmare. After a couple months of using it, the side bars started catching and not opening when I needed to open it. It took 3 hands to hold the bars in place while simultaneously opening the stroller...not easily done when I'm alone and definately not happening while holding the baby. There have been many times where I was away from home and needed the stroller but absolutely could not get it to open because these bars are not lining up right. My husband looked at it and showed me where to hold the bars in, which helped but I still needed to do acrobatic maneuvers to get the thing to open. Today I threw it back in the trunk after fighting in the 90degree heat with a screaming baby....it just would not open. I carried my daughter through the mall, which is so hard to do while trying to get bday gifts for my other child. I have 4 kids. There are times I absolutely need a dependable stroller....I do not have it. So I called Dorel....no luck...in the best case scenario they'll discount me another of their strollers if management approves....but I still have to shell out more money for a brand that I'm not happy with and it'll take a good month. I'm not wasting another penny on this company. I thought maybe they'd replace it (it's rusting all over the place and has never gotten wet....just from the air humidity....I take good care of it) but they won't. So I told them I'd go online and review it and buy something else. I think we'll go with the Chicco brand....great reviews and looks like it'll hold up for the next 2-3 years that I need a stroller. I thought Eddie Bauer was a reputable brand but learned my lesson the very hard and expensive way. Hope this helps someone else from not making the same mistake we did..

3.0 out of 5 stars Keep looking, November 13, 2008
This review is from: Eddie Bauer Endeavor Travel System (Toy)
Overall, it works and seems like a safe, quality product. Would I buy it again knowing what I know now (have been using it for 5 weeks)? NO.
Pro: softer fabric than most travel systems, good padding, nice pattern
Con: buckle in infant carrier is very wide- we have to bend my daughter's legs so her knees point out, otherwise it is digging into her inner thighs. stroller and carrier are very heavy and cumbersome to load in the car. easy to understand but takes forever to adjust shoulder straps.

1.0 out of 5 stars stroller crotch strap does not work most of the time, September 30, 2010
This review is from: Eddie Bauer Endeavor Travel System (Toy)
I originally bought the Eddie Bauer Bertini system. The car seat is wonderful. But the stroller is a nightmare. The crotch strap broke after 2 weeks. And I did not abuse it in any way. The company sent me The Endeavor system as a replacement. The same thing happened. The design of the crotch strap is horrible. I struggle with it most of the time. Half the time at least one side does not click into position. At times, neither side clicks into position. It is extremely frustrating! The strap needs to be redesigned.

3.0 out of 5 stars I wouldn't recommend it, December 30, 2009

I agree that this is a functional travel system, and that's about it! My husband and I go for long walks almost every day during the warmer months and pushing this stroller wasn't the smoothest ride. Our son outgrew the car seat pretty quickly and with all the higher weight and height capacity car seats on the market today (2 years after buying this system) I just can't see wasting my time with this travel system. We now have a BOB Revolution 12" AW and a Graco Snugride 35, it doesn't get much better than that! This travel system may be affordable but in the long run we wasted our money. Learn from our mistake.

(double b/c it can convert to the single, a little tip well worth the extra $$$ for the double!!! But he still loves to use this stroller when he takes one of them.
It "drives" like a dream, smooth, easy to steer, handle and the girls love it too! We have used it so much we're going to have to get new tires for it soon, we've worn the tread down so much!

My husband power-walks and jogs in the evening, we've never had a "jogging stroller" he uses this one and LOVES it!

It's one handed collapes feature is the easiest one we've had yet! (We have 3 stroller all different brands this one works the best of all the other brands).
Also it easily folds small enought to fit into my very small audi A4 sedan trunk!
We really loved the snap and go feature of the carseat too! We used it with both our daughters until they were big enough for their convertible forward facing seats.

When I read the reveiws I initially agreed that this carseat straps were tight around baby's legs when they grew a little. I just recently discovered that the whole in-between-the-legs-strap, can be physically removed and put in the next "hole" up which gives baby a whole lot more leg room! I was shocked and we laughed b/c we discovered this after we transfered our youngest to her convertible seat! :) The over-the-shoulder-straps can be loosened adequately as well. It is a little wobbly in the carseat base, but we found it fine. We had a small towel under ours to protect the leather seats.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible Infant Car Seat!, April 6, 2009
This review is from: Eddie Bauer Endeavor Travel System (Toy)
Do not waste your money on this travel system. The infant car seat is horrible to use. The buckle is like a puzzle piece! I also had difficulty lining up the car seat w/ the base in order for it to "snap" in place. I agree with the previous reviewer about the stroller and the odd metal bar that is necessary for use w/ the car seat. Unfortunately, I was so frustrated w/ this system that I ended up buying another infant seat. I would recommend the Chicco KeyFit infant seat. It was like a dream after dealing w/ this nightmare!

2.0 out of 5 stars Would never recommend this system, March 11, 2009

This review is from: Eddie Bauer Endeavor Travel System (Toy)
We bought this system to use with our new baby daughter. From the start, it has been frustrating. I would never recommend another Eddie Bauer (and it seems they are made by Dorel Juvenile Group) product, as we are now attempting to use an Eddie Bauer covertible seat given to us as a gift, and I'm not much happier. We also have the pack'n play from this set, and the changing table ripped within 3 months of use with a brand new baby--they won't pay to fix it. Poor craftsmanship on ALL of these products. Issues with this seat/stroller:

1) The straps twist CONSTANTLY, and are impossible to get untwisted. I've resigned myself to having to strap my daughter into the seat with straps twisted over themselves 2-3 times. I've since read other reviews, and they say the same thing.

2) The sun hood on the seat is warped, and will not stay where you place it--it came this way. Unable to fix it. It also will only come up to where the carrier handle is, so can only face one way. Other maker seats let the hood go under the handle so you can adjust for the direction the sun is coming from.

3) This is a HEAVY carrier to lug around with your baby inside. Much heavier than graco counterparts.

4) To hook into the bottom belt buckle in the carrier, you must hold the two pieces of the harness strap together to make the plastic "buckles" line up to fit into the base buckle. This is VERY difficult to do one handed with a squirming infant.

5) Stroller: to put carrier on top you must use a provided metal bar that hooks into the stroller. The plastic it hooks into is flimsy and thin. Ours is already bending easily. You must take this bar out to put child into stroller without carrier. It is a nuisance. Stroller is otherwise ok, but altogether not a good buy considering my great dislike of the carrier.
