We ordered this seat online because it wasn't available at stores in our area. We received the seat today and I was not impressed at all. The seatbelt guides are attached to the fabric, not the actual seat and seem flimsy to me. Also, the padding for the seat is quite minimal- I couldn't imagine having to sit in it for more than a few minutes. The hard plastic is easily felt through the cover. I like the look of this seat, but in this case looks were deceiving. We will be returning this one for one that looks a little more sturdy.

My children ages 3mo's and 23mo's were recently in a car accident with Grandma. My almost two year old was not injured due to this carseat. The police officer was impressed with the carseat because of the way the car was hit he thought for sure he should have been injured! My 3mo old was in the eddie bauerelite and no injuries to reort as well. What a scary day but all is well!!!

I have two of these seats in different colors and so does my neighbor. One of the first things I need to mention is that overall it is a good seat. However, as a booster seat it is not very good. It is hard to buckle the regular belt through it as a booster. Also, the belt positives are removable and my daughter had no problem getting them off when she turned 3. One of the seats is missing the postitioners since we could not find where she put it. The fact that these postitioners are just attached to the fabric does not seem to be very safe to me. Also, the cup holders are not very strong. One of mine and my neighbors broke (on the part that connects to the seat). Lastly, the while you can remove the harness systems to use it as a booster seat the bottom buckle is not removable and is a pain for my daughter. Overall, I would say buy it as a car seat as a transition between a infant seat and a booster.

We bought this same seat in a different pattern 3 months ago. The guides for the harness keep coming out because they only pop into the seat thru the fabric. I can't count how many times I have looked back to see my son playing with them. When we had to remove the cover to wash it, it was very difficult to put back together. To top it all off, yesterday, I pulled the strap in the front to tighten the belts, and the lever you push down to adjust the straps broke free from the frame. Hardly what I would expect after only 3 months of use. It is a nice looking seat, but overall unimpressed with the poor construction. We're going to take it back and pay the extra money for the Britax. We have one of those that has made it through 2 kids and is still like new. Worth the $$$. Don't buy the Eddie Bauer.

I liked this seat for a few reasons: because of the weight range it can be used for, the carseat harness option, the cupholder, pillow, and it fit well in my jeep. It worked great as a carseat.

But, then we switched it to a booster. It was difficult for me to buckle. Then, we got a different car. It still fits great, but when I reach over to buckle her in, I almost fall into the car. And, she has trouble reaching to buckle herself.

The padding is thin, but she has never complained. The pillow was not very helpful, and the seat does not give very good head support if she falls asleep.

All in all, it is a good seat. But, I will not get one like this when my son needs a booster seat.

I purchased this seat for our second car after buying the Eddie Bauer High Back Booster in Glacier from a Babies R Us store. I liked that one, and I figured this one would be similar. I thought the price was less because maybe it was an older pattern. However, when I got this seat, I was surprised to find that the quality seemed to be much lower than my other seat. It was very hard without much padding. The cover didn't seem very secure and the seat belt guides seemed flimsy. I am returning this seat, and I guess I will just get another one in Glacier like my first one.

First off the fabric is removable there is even instructions in the booklet that tells you how to remove it. Second the arms are very sturdy I stood on them and they didnt move. The cup holder is connected to the bottom of the seat so I dont think it will fall off. And the glides for the straps are connected to the seat not the fabric. the padding is minume but the car seat carrier that infants ride is is pretty hard too. And besides you can put blankets under it to make it softer.

We bought this booster seat/car seat when my daughter transitioned out of her infant seat. We've been extremely happy with it. I've had to wash the cover and it washes well. It is easy to move and adjust. I would recommend it.

Roomy and comfy for my toddler, and we like it because we know it is very safe. Easy to install. Has a nice large pillow attached with velcro which is great when my son falls asleep. The attached cup holder is a huge bonus and there are also mesh pockets for my son's favorite toys. I liked this so much I bought another one for our other car.

We chose this seat as a second car seat for our toddler. We use it on planes and when we visit my in-laws. The main attractions were the light weight and low cost. I also liked the wide range of weights and heights of children it can accomodate. It is much easier to have this simple seat on hand than having to move our large, heavy Britax out of one car and into another, let alone dragging it through an airport! I'm sure that it won't get the wear and tear that other reviewers describe, but for these limited purposes it is terrific.
