EB's handle construction is not durable enough for frequent travel, January 31, 2010

While the rest of the bag remains in good condition, the retractable handle mechanism soon began to jam when I attempted to collapse the slides to the down position. Later, the plastic handle broke above both uprights. Upon examining the broken handle, it's clear the plastic handle is under-designed for the stress of ordinary use. My otherwise sturdy bag was made useless by this one critical defect. It's in the trash now. Don't buy it!
