Great bag to use when flying,

If you are reading the reviews, please do not let the customer who is upset with Babies-R-Us influence your decision on the Eddie Bauer stroller bag! Reviews are intended for the customer input on particular items, NOT on store experiences. I bought this bag for a recent airline trip I took because I have heard airlines can pretty pretty rough on strollers and such. This bag was very durable and served it's purpose very well! My stroller was not damaged in any way and it was easy and convenient to get through the airport because of the wheels and carry straps it has! I am very pleased with the bag and know that I will use it a lot in the next few years! We have the Eddie Bauer blue glacier stroller/infant seat combo and it fit very easily into the bag (minus the infant seat obviously). I definitely recommend this bag to anyone who is considering it!

Bought this bag to store our stroller in, was worried if it would fit our brand stroller but had the store credit at babies r us and this is the only one they carry, so I figured if it didnt fit I would return it. It does fit our stroller no problem, we have the graco quattro tour. I know that the graco bag says you have to remove the front tires, you dont have to with this bag. It seems really sturdy and has wheels for easy transport. I gave it 4 stars because I just got it and havent been able to test the durablity of it, but otherwise it seems to be a great bag.

One trip and it was tearing,
This review is from: Eddie Bauer Stroller Travel Bag (Baby Product)
We purchased this to use for travel. We fly a lot internationally and on our first trip, the bag arrived with several small tears. The quality just isn't made for the hard handling of baggage on airplanes. It will probably only last for 2 or 3 more trips which for us is only half of a year.

We bought this bag to protect our Graco Quattro stroller. It fit in easily with room to spare for other baby equipment. The bag did get pretty beat up on our flights, but the stroller was protected. This was our first flight with all the baby equipment and wanted to make sure we had a working stroller when we reached our destination. My sister had checked her stroller right before getting on the plane and the airline said they weren't liable for damages. She was then stuck with no stroller at Disney World. I'm glad we bought this bag and I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling with a stroller!

Useless after one flight,

We used the bag for a direct flight and packed only our stroller into the bag (it fit perfectly). Going from the parking lot to the terminal was slow going because the bottom of the bag does not have any support so the stroller was pushing the bottom down to the ground, causing it to drag. We commented at the time that the bag wouldn't make it through too many trips with the dragging problem. We'll never know how long the bottom would have survived. When we retrieved the bag after the flight, there was a huge tear at the TOP of the bag from the bag being hoisted by it's handle. Our recommendation to Eddie Bauer: Reinforce both the top and the bottom. Our recommendation to prospective buyers: Don't buy until the product is improved.

My son and I fly every 2 to 3 months (started when he was 2 mths old and is 2 yrs now). We own an Eddie Bauer travel system which I always check at the gate. First couple flights without a bag and every time the stroller would come out covered with black marks and once the whole unit had to be replaced due to severe damage (stroller wheels completely bent sideways and car seat base found on the tar mat smashed). So I bought the bag. I believe that it is well worth the investment and LOVE it.Since I travel alone with my son, I find it very simple to use. I wheel the stroller to the gate then just before boarding fold it down and put it in the bag. I am only 5' 1" and find it very easy to carry or roll from the boarding gate to the plane in the bag. It has already been through 4 round trip flights and has suffered no damage. The bag has tons of storage space without being big and bulky. One time I kept our large metal backpack carrier in it with the stroller for the flight. Another time I fit the umbrella stroller and Eddie Bauer stroller in also for a flight. Most of the time I toss our coats and extra toys for at the airport in it during the flight. It folds up nicely when not in use and fits in the stroller basket. The only con that I have with the item is that like other people mentioned it does not fare well outside with the stroller in it. Our bag also as a small hole (about quarter size) near the wheels from wheeling it a short distance across a parking lot with the stroller inside. I also have the car seat travel bag by Eddie Bauer and love it too.

thought this was a necessity to protect our stroller while traveling so i bought one the night before travel. my graco quattro fit perfectly, BUT was very awkward to wheel around. first, it has a soft handle so the bag hangs low when tipped to wheel. Second, the back/bottom of the bag that the weight of the stroller sits on when wheeling has NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER so the stroller drags on the ground unless you're over 6 feet tall and can wheel the bag at a steeper angle.not sure if this was due to abuse by airline personnel..the zipper broke and the bag was on the conveyor belt open. it was useless for the flight back. i might as well have put my stroller in a black garbage bag. this was a great product idea, but this model needs improvement. i highly recommend a back support to keep the weightbearing side rigid while being wheeled. maybe a rigid telescoping handle that extends all the way down to the wheels. definitely a more durable zipper or maybe adding velcro enclosures just like a playpen mat closes around the playpen frame to avoid too much strain on the zipper. note: the bag comes with 2 nylon straps that adjust and snap closed like the straps on an umbrella stroller, but it's not nearly sturdy enough. as it is...the bag would make a great stroller cover for storage, but not a travel bag. your child is wiggly enough...why travel with a floppy stroller bag?

I have used this cover on one trip. It was very helpful, and easy to use. The whole side opens up so that the stroller can fit in quickly, and the bag has wheels for easy moving. The only bad thing about this cover is that when using the wheels to move the stroller the cover drags on the ground and it wore a hole in it. I was very disappointed that it was so fragile. I only used it on it's wheels for maybe 100 feet and it already has a fairly large hole in it.

The size of the bag is great. It allowed us room to throw in our jackets and a few other items. After 1st use, it was all torn in several place. Definitley not very durable. I bought patches for the tears and we used it on our next trip. It was torn up again. I wish they made the material more durable.

This bag fell apart after the first flight and we gate checked! I duct taped it to limp home, but if you have a sturdy stroller, go for a sturdy bag, THIS IS NOT IT!
