If you are serious about your camping then go and get a decent tent from one of the more specialized retailers like REI. I have had tents like this and I can assure you that unless you are absolutely cash strapped your money is better spent on a more durable and feature rich product. ...

I camped on the Northern California coast for two nights in this tent. Plenty of room for 3 people/no gear - 2+gear. The wind blew the first night, but it wasn't bothersome. It's true that the tent can't be sealed against dust, however most have ventilation at the top that would preclude this. The rain fly was tricky because it's off center, but the tent stayed dry in the fog. Best feature: you don't need to stake the tent or the fly - the fly attaches to the corners. My 11- and 9-year old girls can set this tent up by themselves. In fact, my 11-year old took it on her 5 day class camp trip and it served her needs well. Our Girl Scout troop is going to purchase 3 more of these for light car camping use a few times a year.

I just purchased this one on clearance for just under eighteen bucks at the local Target store. It's a simple little backpacking tent, nothing more, nothing less. Spray it down with some waterproofing before you take it out, and your good to go for a night or two.
