4.0 out of 5 stars Eddie is still Shakin'
This Eddie Money DVD is exactly what I expected it to be. An aging rock n roller still putting the youngsters to shame and doing the classic Money-Medleys in a style all his own. The crowd is enthusiastic and Eddie is giving them what they want. We all get older and Eddie has as well. He looks comparable to his age and he cranks out some super hits in classic fashion...

3.0 out of 5 stars good track list, terrible audience
I don't think I have ever seen an audience this bad, ever! Eddie is rockin and still capable after all these years, and the band is tight, But its simply painful to watch eddie lean into the crowd with the MIC and get no response over and over. Good track listing, trinidad is a treat, but WOW what a difference a lively crowd makes. only for die-hard eddie money fans!!

This guy comes from the ranks of the rock stars who fought their way to the top. Well, Eddie hasn't come down yet!!!!! The quality of the audio and video production on this DVD is superb.

4.0 out of 5 stars PRETTY GOOD, August 23, 2001
This review is from: Eddie Money: Shakin' With the Money Man (DVD)
It's a sympathical DVD. Eddie and his band are filmed in a small audience and is not so spectacular than Bon Jovi or Journey in a stadium. But the live versions are good and the musicians seem enthusiastic!

4.0 out of 5 stars Weird, but pretty good., December 16, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Eddie Money: Shakin' With the Money Man (DVD)
The audio and video are marginal on this DVD. Eddie can still bring it, and the concert set list contains his better songs. Weird choice for a venue. Almost looks like a high school stage in a gym or something.

4.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining, but over the hill., July 5, 2006
This review is from: Eddie Money: Shakin' With the Money Man (DVD)
Eddie Money is certainly one of the greatest entertainers to come out of the 70's, but in this DVD he looks hunched over, lip synched, and over the hill. However, the set is quite interesting, the audio is terrific, and the Money Man is full of energy. If you're any kind of Eddie Money fan, you should enjoy easily. Younger audience members may become bored or laugh at the screen, but I think overall Eddie still has it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Could Someone Give Us a Track Listing?, May 16, 2006
This review is from: Eddie Money: Shakin' With the Money Man (DVD)
I recently purchased the Shakin' With the Money Man audio cd. In it they advertised the concert video on VHS and now DVD version. The advertisement said there were two bonus tracks on the video. This was abviously the encore to the show. I think one is Trinidad, but don't know the other. Could somone please give us a complete track listing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still Crazy for Eddie after all these years!!!, March 23, 2006
This review is from: Eddie Money: Shakin' With the Money Man (DVD)
I just purchased this dvd and yes it is a much smaller audience than a stadium or arena but still the same his audience adores him!Infact, so do I.He was fabulous back in the 80's and still is now in 2006.He is older but he's aging gracefully.Eddie's voice is still gravelly and suberb. His charm and ultra magnetism still is very much present as his looks. His personality and interacting with his fans is great too.Don't go by the other reviews about him being a B artist. This is totally not true. There are other reviews that state his audience is not pumped up with his actions or interacting with them. This also is not true. The sound quality is somewhat lacking but Eddie's fans sing along and go right with his flow all the way. They love him period end of story. All his hits are done exactly as they were back in the 80's and sound great. His band is superb and show enthusiasm throughout the show.A great find for all Eddie Money fans and then some.Love you Eddie.....Keep thrilling us!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent show, January 31, 2006
This review is from: Eddie Money: Shakin' With the Money Man (DVD)
This is a laid back kind of DVD, good with a couple beers and a good HiFi. Crowd is decent and probably as about as rowdy as an AOR American crowd gets. Definately worth the buy if you like Eddy Money.
