Non-opera fan converted,
By A Customer
I picked up this cd after listening to a couple tracks at one of those bookstores with the head set and I was blown away by Sarah's voice. The songs were beautiful to match a beautiful voice. I had never been a fan of opera type voices before I heard Sarah. What's refreshing with her sound is that it is pure and she utilizes her vocal chords as they SHOULD be utilized and not like so many of the so-called "divas" who instead of singing the high notes do nothing but yell (herrendition of IL MIO CUORE VA makes Celine's hit a "miss" in my book) She sings it with restraint and purity. I can't wait til her next album comes to the states and look forward to a concert appearance in Minnesota. Let's hope that she gains a loyal following of fans as she branches out into the pop scene.

Why aren't there "6" stars?!,
By A Customer
I have recently purchased Dive and Fly and love them and listen to them more than any other albums I own, so of course I had to get more! While Eden is not quite as satisfying or fun as the previous two, it is certainly grander and more enjoyable than any other artist that I've ever listened to. First get Dive and Fly, THEN get Eden (they're ALL worth it:)

Out of this world!,

Sarah Brightman has a voice like no other woman alive! On this CD she proves that she is also very versatile, utilizing her "pop" vocals as well as her famous "opera" tones. The title track is particularly well done. The entire CD is haunting and I play it over and over again - I will never grow tired of this one. I wish it wasn't so expensive here in the US - I am a native Brit, and purchased it last November on a trip back home for a lot less! However, I would pay the $34 for it - it's that good!

Time To Say, "Where have you been hiding?!?",
By A Customer
Although an international superstar, Ms. Brightman is, alas, an undiscovered and under-appreciated musical jewel in the U.S. Since her last work, "Time to Say Goodbye," Ms. Brightman has cultivated her musical/vocal talent; range, vocalization, phrasing, etc. This CD is like floating down a stream - smooth, meandering music and singing with an unexpected twist in the flow from time to time. But then, it wouldn't be such a wonderful and sensual experience, would it? Brava, Sarah! Wake up, America!

Her best work yet!,
By A Customer
Being an ardent fan of "Time to Say Goodbye", I was very skeptical of Sarah doing a CD I could possibly like better. However, let me tell you, she has done it! The combination of music keeps you engrossed throughout the entire CD. Her voice improves with every new CD she produces. I have to admit when I saw "Nessun Dorma" listed, I was skeptical, but have no fear, it is so beautifully done, I was completely lost in the music as with her version of the theme from the "Titanic". Believe me, this CD is so worth the money, and the best news is, I got it on sale from Amazon.com. Thank you Amazon.com!

This is one of Sarah brightman's finest Cd's,

This new effort by English singer Sarah Brightman is incredible. The music is far more accomplished and the lyrical content more impressive than in previous efforts, Dive and Fly. The music is varied in style and each one of the songs is unique. One of the most interesting and beautiful songs to me is "Anytime, Anywhere". The melody is based on Albinoni's Adagio and the words are a unique combination of Italian and English. The tune has a very melancholy and yet seductive feel to it. If you are a fan of "Titanic" and the song "My Heart Will Go On" you will definitely be interested in Brightman's lushly orchestrated Italian version. Another great tune on the CD is Brightman's version of "Dust In The Wind." Definitely worth the money. This CD ranks right up there with "Time To Say Goodbye" and "Surrender: The Unexpected Songs". A must-have for ant serious Sarah Brightman fan.

A must-have CD for SB fans,
By A Customer
I bought "Timeless" blind based on one track ("Just Show Me How to Love You" music video) and loved the CD, so I didn't hesitate when I bought Eden. After the first listening I was disappointed as I suppose I was expecting "Timeless 2", but after listening again and again, it surpasses Timeless in its texture, variation, and her voice could not be more clearer. The music is lush and nor too dominating. There is not a single duff track on the CD. Hope to see you all at her concert in Bonn (April 1999)!
