5.0 out of 5 stars Eden Green Tea, July 12, 2008
This review is from: Eden Organic Green Tea, Sencha, Tea Bags, 16-Count Boxes (Pack of 12) (Grocery)
For bagged tea, this is a really good-tasting example. Taste is definite and crisp. This is the same product that used to be Bancha Tea.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sencha Tea, December 17, 2011

This tea is described as replacing "Bancha", also by Eden. It is good, a little more colorful in the cup, but less delicate as I remember Bancha. I have found that letting the water sit for 2 minutes after boiling, and steeping for no more than 4 minutes makes a great cup! Will buy more.

I've tried many green teas and this is one of my favorite... and probably the best bang-for-buck teas I've tried. The flavor is excellent and the price is good compared to many I've tried. I still keep this one in my tea drawer along with much more expensive choices - but still drink it regularly. Highly recommended as a great tea for the price!

The best I have ever consumed. Studies advice that this japanese tea contains three times the benefits of green tea than in comparison to the chinese version. I love doing this type of research for personal reasons and like feeling I'm doing all I can in regards to medical prevention. I love it!!! Buying it in this size has been great as it costs more for an individual box at the health store.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smooth flavor, October 3, 2010

I have tried many different green teas in bags, and this brand is the smoothest and most pleasant green tea. And when I forgetfully leave the bag in the water for too long, it doesn't ruin the flavor by getting very strong. I definitely recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good flavor, one of my favorites, February 22, 2011

In my original review of this tea, I was not so enthusiastic, then I changed my opinion. I first thought it was not as good as the Yamamotoyama Sushi Bar Style or Kirtland Signature Ito En Matcha Blend, but it is comparable. My co-worker even prefers it. However, though the flavor is good, it is much weaker than the others. There are shipping charges with the Yama and Kirtland teas, but I'll probably stick with them in the future (esp. the Yama brand for it's pricing and paper bags, as opposed to Kirtland's nylon bags).
