2.0 out of 5 stars Disillusioned
For years, I had heard the Akashic Records being touted as the unwritten spiritual book of life, that included every event, every living soul who had ever taken a breath from the beginning of time through eternity. The subject was beyond fascinating, as my limited mortal mind could not grasp the enormity of such a body of knowledge "existing".
However, I took it on...

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fascinating Account of the Past, Present, and Future, May 29, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Edgar Cayce on the Akashic Records: The Book of Life (Paperback)
I loved this book! It presents a fascinating account of how we constantly draw upon our soul's past in the present and how our actions in the present help pull together the substance of our futures. It should be must reading for anyone who wants to read about how life and reincarnation work together. Read this book and then read Todeschi's book on Soul Development: Edgar Cayce's Approach to a New World. The information will change your life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kevin Todeshi is amazingly clear, February 5, 2003
This review is from: Edgar Cayce on the Akashic Records: The Book of Life (Paperback)
I am a professional clairvoyant with the Edgar Cayce
organization and teach intuition in ARE programs. I know
Kevin personally. As a person who contacts the Akashic records
in my readings, I can tell you that Kevin has an amazingly
deep and clear grasp on the subject. I sometimes wonder if
he is not Mr. Cayce reincarnated himself!
The stories in this book clarify a complex subject and make
it accessible. Read anything written by Kevin and you will
feel the purity and clarity of a crystal bell within it. He
has a way of making the obscure graspable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful, informative and fun, June 3, 2007
This review is from: Edgar Cayce on the Akashic Records: The Book of Life (Paperback)
What if every thought, deed or feeling each of us has ever had or might likely have is being recorded in a book about us? Perhaps this "book" is written in energy, or as Edgar Cayce said, "etched in the ethers?"

When Edgar Cayce, perhaps the most documented psychic in history, was asked where he obtained the information he delivered in psychic readings, he noted two main sources: one was the subconscious mind of the querent and the other was from a place he called "The Hall of Records."

Mr. Todeschi states, "The Akashic Records are the impulse that draws to us exactly what we need, exactly when we need it. They are the force that brings individuals together to learn from one another. They are the tool which enables individuals to meet themselves and become the best they can be."

I'm also a reader for the A.R.E. and I've reviewed and digested many of Kevin Todeschi's books. This one is my favorite. Kevin makes things crystal clear and easy to digest. You'll learn a lot and enjoy the process.

5.0 out of 5 stars eccentric, November 5, 2007

This review is from: Edgar Cayce on the Akashic Records: The Book of Life (Paperback)
I have been reading Cayce books for 40 years and this has been one of the most helpful. It answers most of my questions regarding karma and reincarnation. Cayce was a good and generous man, reading the Bible several times a year, teaching Sunday School and helping others. He was troubled, however, with channeling reincarnation issues. He soon realized that with this information, he could help others by giving them healing information that he was receiving. Upon establishing his Area for Research and Enlightenment in Virginia Beach, others are still able to access myriads of "dictations". These were saved from his readings, so others can still be healed. If nothing more, it has helped me have more peace and understanding when bad things happen to good people and vice versa.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book, June 5, 2007
This review is from: Edgar Cayce on the Akashic Records: The Book of Life (Paperback)
This is the most inspirational book regarding Mr. Cayce's readings which I've read yet. It provides some powerful insights to traditional religious beliefs that will expand your understanding. There are some interesting case histories which make good story-within-a-story reading and I felt a sense of empowerment upon completing the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Marvelous Book on the Mystery of Reincarnation, November 23, 2007
This review is from: Edgar Cayce on the Akashic Records: The Book of Life (Paperback)
I like books by Kevin J. Todeschi. I've also read his Edgar Cayce on Soul Mates: Unlocking the Dynamics of Soul Attraction and Edgar Cayce on the Reincarnation of Biblical Characters. I presently have his The Encyclopedia of Symbolism (Creative Breakthroughs Book) beside my dream journal to help me with interpretation. In his books, Todeschi describes unusual concepts clearly and uses many examples and anecdotes to illustrate his points.

Reincarnation is one of my favorite topics. This is a great book for explaining what life is all about. It's also wonderful for deciphering Cayce's ideas since the long, convoluted sentences of the psychic's trance readings are often difficult to understand.

Because I've also read Todeschi's introduction to Edgar Cayce on Overcoming Fear and Anxiety, I know that the author's life was profoundly improved by delving into his own past lives. His appreciation for solving some of his own personal mysteries through an understanding of his previous incarnations rings through in this book.

If you are a seeker, this is a must-read book.

This review is from: Edgar Cayce on the Akashic Records: The Book of Life (Paperback)
However, I took it on absolute faith that this was so and recently endeavored to find the quintessential book on the subject. Knowing of Mr. Cayce's tremendous psychic following, I assumed this book would enlighten me and others. I excitedly bought a new copy for myself and sent another to a friend.
After trudging through the first 68 pages, I felt lost and befuddled. The writing and text are difficult to follow and not at all in "layperson's" language.
Perhaps this book is meant for an experienced psychic mind and intellect, one who understands the language and is willing to muddle through the long-winded case histories to discover meaning and relevance.
My friend confessed she had read a mere chapter or two, then set it aside.

5.0 out of 5 stars A True World Record, June 18, 2008

It is interesting how everything in the lives of these case examinations falls into place once we move back and see the bigger picture. It all makes sense now.

Whatever we don't resolve in one life moves on into the next. Never in my wildest dreams would I have considered the movie "Groundhog Day" a documentary.

I could not put this book down. I even gave it to friends who scoffed at reincarnation, telling them to "Explain this!"
